She woke to the sound of ringing. As she rolled over to look at the alarm clock on the bedside table she squeezed her eyes shut at the bright glow it gave off. Then the ringing just stopped.

"Oh, thank god." She rolled over and tried to get back to sleep. She was just drifting off when it started again. She groaned as she rolled back over to reach her cell on the bedside table. She held it up to her clock to see the ID window. She sighed and said "crap." As she rolled onto her back and answered the phone.

"What's up?" she said. Her sleep making her voice sound heavy. She heard heavy, rapid breathing on the other end of the phone.

"Look it's two am. Get to the point or hang up." Then a small, muted sob made its way through the phone. She sat up, completely awake now.

"What happened?" she nearly screamed down the phone. "Its him." whispered a small, scared voice on the other end. "I'm on my way. Head to where we agreed." She said as she flung back the covers and reached for her jeans and shoes. She pulled on a shirt as she ran from the house.

The sound of his cell phone woke him. He rolled over, grabbed his cell and flipped it open to answer without checking the caller ID.

"Papadoorous." He said into it.

"Hey Papa. Did I wake you?" he sat up, fully awake at the voice coming through the phone. "Do you really think you should be sleeping?" said the mechanically altered voice on the other end of the phone.

"What did you do asshole?" Agent Matt Papadoorous asked the all too familiar voice. "Why don't you come find out?" the connection broke.

"Shit." Matt swore as he jumped out of bed and pulled on his jeans as he ran for his car. "Eddy? You get that?" he asked into his cell as he reached his car. "Uh...sorta." Said Eddy from his desk in the IT area of the local police station. "And sorta means?" Matt asked as he pulled out of the drive way and headed towards the station. "It means I got a general area, but no exact location. Like every other time he's called" Eddy explained. "Where?!" Matt yelled into his phone.

He could almost see Eddy jump before he said "The dock area." Matt clicked off before doing a quick U-turn and headed for the docks.

She was heading for the docks when her phone rang. "What?" she nearly yelled into it. She heard the mechanical voice on the other end say "you're too late. Again." The connection broke and she hit the gas. She pulled into the dock area and went straight for the warehouse at the very end. She didn't slow down till she was only a couple meters away from the door. She threw open her door before the car had stopped completely. She ran to the door and pushed it open, noticing that it had been kicked in. She drew her 9mm Smith & Wesson from its sacrum holster and checked it was loaded before entering the warehouse. As soon as she crossed the threshold she knew that he'd already gone, why else would he have called her? She holstered her gun quickly before pulling a pair of latex gloves from her pocket, not wanting to contaminate the crime scene or leave her prints everywhere. She pulled them on then reached for the light switched. She pulled the old switch down and heard the hum of electricity start before several lights started to flicker then came on. It was exactly as she remembered it. Dusty, stale air. Dusty covered surfaces. She knew they'd fine her foot prints but there wasn't a lot she could do about that. 'And it would really help. I mean size seven female feet. That's pretty average.' She thought as she entered. The only thing that was different was the blood trail leading from the door to behind her BMW convertible. She followed it, knowing what she would find. As the blobs of blood got bigger she started to see the body of a small thin woman lying on her back next to the car. The woman had dirty blonde hair, identical to her own, a face nearly identical to her own. The only difference between them was that she was slightly curvier than the one on the floor. She took a deep breath before swallowing and moving to get a better look at what he had done to her younger sister. She saw the kill shot to the back of her head, execution style, the bruise forming on her face as well as on her bare arms and shoulders. She pushed all the emotions to the back of her mind, it was the only way she was gonna catch this guy, so her loved ones stopped dying. She reached out and closed her sisters screaming eyes. Then she heard sirens in the distance. She spun back to the door and went straight for her car. She angled her car towards the docks edge and took off the hand brake. Then she gave it a little push and watched it roll over the edge and into the water. She stood staring at nothing until she heard the car hit the water.
