The Perfect Love Story (Marie x male Agent 4)

Chapter 1 | Arrival

It was a peaceful day in Inkopolis Square, the start of summer with all the girls and boy hanging around. Meanwhile, Christopher had just finished a turf wars game and had finally reached level 5 after just a few hours an Inkopolis Square. Chris was always good at turf wars and ranked battles, in Inkopolis Plaza he was level 86 until they moved. All his levels were reset which disappointed him but he was okay with it. Once Chris finished the game he came out of the arena and noticed, in the corner of his eye, a green umbrella. He turned around to see the green inkling who had been standing there the whole day.

Christopher: Hmm, who is that lady... she's been there the whole day. 

He went to go investigate but then suddenly she turned into squid form and went down into a grate.

Christopher: Weird...

He walked towards the grate and swiftly went down it. It was dark for a few seconds but he came out eventually, he looked around at his surroundings and noticed he was on some sort of a floating island. He also saw a small but sturdy shack and he saw standing there was the lady. She had a kind of sad but concentrated look on her face, then she looked up and noticed Christopher.

???: Finally you're here! I've been waiting for you all day!   

Christopher: ... who are you?

???: *lifts down hood and poses*

Christopher: Oooooh you're Marie, from the squid sisters!

Marie: Heh, yes I am. Now i have some business I would like you to help me with but first you can ask some questions because you are probably confused.

Christopher: Err... well I have one question, where are we?

Marie: I thought you would ask that, we are in the Octo Canyon. It is where my grandpa lives but he is out on a mission so while he's gone i'm here to look after the shack. Now can i tell you why I need you're help?

Christopher: *nods*

Marie: (whispers: Finally) Well i'm sure you've heard on the news lately that my cousin Callie has gone missing and also the great zapfish has gone missing too. Now i think i know where they are, somewhere in the Octo canyon.

Christopher: So why do you need my help?

Marie: Well I've been tracking you since I knew that Callie had gone missing and saw that you were an excellent  player in Inkopolis Plaza so I knew you would be great help. Sorry if that sounded stalkerish but I really need help finding Callie...

Tears started to gather in Marie's eyes but Chris came up and comforted her so she would feel better.

Chris: Hey... it's okay, i will help you find her...

Marie: (sniff) thank you, and by the way, you are now Agent 4 of the Squidbeak Splatoon.

Chris: The what?

 Marie: (chuckles)

Marie explained to the new agent 4 what the Squidbeak Splatoon (because i don't want to bore you lol) and they got to know each other a bit, Christopher shared some stories with her and she told some of hers.

Chris: So it looks like its getting dark...

Marie: Ah yes, you know we've got a very busy day ahead so you can sleep in the shack.

Chris: Are you sure? i have got an apartment.

Marie: I'm sure, you can sleep in the spare room.

Chris: Well... thanks :)

They went in the shack and had a quick snack before they went to sleep. Chris went into the spare room and got ready for bed. He got into bed and thought to himself...                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     (things between " are his thoughts)

Chris: "Wow, this is crazy. I wonder if this even real..." "If it is, these are gonna be a rocky next few weeks..."
