Chapter 37- Shopping Day

Ariana's Pov

The girls follow me out to the car. Maddie gets in the front seat while I pick Belle up and put her in her car seat in the back. I walk around the car and jump in the driver's seat and start to driver towards the mall. During the car ride my song Best Mistake came on and the girls started singing alone to it. It was the cutest moment ever.
"Ari will there be many people at the mall?" Maddie asked.
"No sweetie, I've booked it out until 3 so there will be no one but the ones that work there" I say.
"Okay" Maddie replies.
"Are you okay love?" I ask Maddie.
"Can I talk to you later?" Maddie asks.
"Sure Maddie, is tonight after I put Belle to sleep alright? That way it's just you and me" I ask.
"Yes Ari that's okay" she replies.

We arrive at the mall and we go from shop to shop. I get everything that Maddie even looks at. It concerned me a little how she's 12 yet she fits into size 10 clothes. But then Belle's 6 and she only fits in size 4 clothes. I can tell by the way that she acted this morning, Maddie doesn't like to eat much. I guess being homeless she didn't have much food that she could get.

I can tell Maddie loves to shop. I haven't seen her as happy yet. Belle has been good too she had been showing different clothes to Maddie and even finding the right size too. I let Belle get some clothes too. Maddie gets all the clothes she's ever wanted plus an iPad and an iPhone. I'll have to get her twitter tonight as well.

It goes lunchtime so I decide to go to the food court. Seeing as it's just us here I give the girls each an $20 note and tell them that they can pick their own lunch today. Belle and I go our separate ways but Maddie continues to stand there. I walk but over to her.
"I know" I say to her hoping she would get the picture.
"You know!!! How ??!" She says starting to panic.
"It's okay. I'm going to help you but for now please eat even if you just eat a salad please" I say.
"Okay I guess I will" she replies.
"I'm proud already" I say walking off to get my lunch.

I get my lunch and sit at the table that Belle has picked.
"What do you have?" I asked Belle.
"Burger and chips. Because you never let me have it" she replies.
"Okay fair enough. I have a special vegan dish" I say as Maddie walks over.
"Did you get your salad?" I asked Maddie.
"Yes thanks Ari" she replies.
"That's good now let's all eat, after lunch we have somewhere special to go only for special children" I say.

We finish our lunch and we walk back to the car. We laid the car up with all the shopping that the three of us did today. It's mainly all Maddie's shopping but you can't help that shop for Belle and yourself along the way. We all get into the car and I strap Belle in to her car seat. I start the engine and make our way to the place for special children. The adoption centre! I'm going to adopt Maddie.
