Chapter 17 - Belle Missing in New York

Ariana's Pov

I'm still getting ready at 6:30 pm when Belle needed to go to the toilet.

"Mom, I've gotta pee" Belle says.

"Can you just wait a minute til I'm finished then I can take you?" I ask.

"No I've got to go now" she says.

"Okay I guess it's not that far" I say.

"Where abouts is it?" She asks.

"Down the hall, take a left, take a right, second right then straight down the hall. Don't talk to any strangers!" I say.

Isabelle's Pov

I get to the toilet safely and I feel a lot better. I walk out of the toilet, then I remember I don't know the way back. I start to walk back but I don't remember anything. I sit down and cry, I want my Mommy.

Ariana's Pov

Belle has been gone for 20 minutes now and it's time for me to go out on stage.

"Time to go Ariana" Scooter says.

"Give me a minute, Belle hasn't come back and it's been 25 minutes. I have to find her" I say.

"Don't worry about her I'll find her right now you have to perform" he say.

"Okay she was going to the toilet" I say.

I go out on stage, and start to sing problem.

Isabelle's Pov

I get up still crying and start to walk again I have to find Mommy. I keep walking and walking not knowing where I am going. I sit down and cry again it's not good. I can hear Mom singing in the distance, I'm so far away no one will ever find me.

Scooter's Pov

Ariana is going to kill me if I don't find Belle. She must be so scared. She's been missing for 40 minutes now. I remembered that Liz was over in New York visiting family over Christmas. Her family only live a couple of streets away maybe she could help. I dial her number.

"Hey Liz" I say into the phone.

"Hey Scooter" she replies.

"I have a slight problem" I say.

"Yeah" she replies.

"I'm at Ariana's concert and Belle her 6 year old daughter has gone missing. And I need help finding her" I say.

"I'm on my way" Liz says.

After 10 minutes Liz turns up. Okay let's search this place.

We are on the phone to each other the whole time keeping track of where we all are.

Isabelle's Pov

I'm sitting there crying my eyes out, I'm laying on the floor too cause I'm so tired. Then I hear someone talking in the distance. Sounds like a female and that they are calling someone. I listen a bit longer and hear they are calling Belle.

"I'm here" I say still crying.

"Belle is that you?" a female voice says that isn't moms.

I nod seeing as I'm not allowed to talk to strangers. she comes into view and I can see her face, she looks familiar.

"Hey, sweetie it's alright" she says sitting down beside me. I move away from her.

"Do you know who I am?" she asks.

I shake my head. She did look familiar but I don't know where I have seen her.

"My name is Liz, I'm your moms friend. I play Jade on Victorious" she says

Then I remembered. Jade of course!

I move back closer to her and she hugs me.

"Come on, let's get back and find your mom" she says picking me up.

Ariana's Pov

I finished my concert and Belle is still missing and so is Scooter. I hope she is okay but I start to panic, she's been missing for over 2 hours now. Somehow, I manage to keep myself calm and 5 minutes later Liz walks through the door with Belle.

"Baby, you've been missing this whole time?" I say scooping her from Liz and kissing her on the cheek.

"Yes, I've spent most of it crying until Liz found me" she says.

"Liz thank you so much" I say.

"No problem" Liz says.

"What happened?" I say to Belle.

"Well I had to go to the toilet and I found my way there. But when I walked out I forgot how to get back. I've been walking and sitting down crying until Liz found me" she says.

"Awh baby, I'm just glad you're okay" I say.

"It scared me I was so scared I was never going to see you again" she says with a tear running down her face.

"You're okay now mommy's got you" I say quietly in her ear, and kissing her on the cheek.

We go back to the hotel room where we get changed into our pjs, and Belle falls asleep in my arms.
