SAMAIRA x VIRAT
She was beautiful, even more so while sleeping. Virat woke up a little earlier than Samaira, just to gaze at the sleeping beauty before him. Though he had only dozed off for an hour or two, he had never taken his eyes off her stunning face.
Samaira slowly blinked her eyes open as the morning sunlight fell directly on her face. Virat immediately stood in front of her, shielding her from the discomfort.
She sat up, trying to recall the events of last night and their conversation, but the haze of the hangover made it impossible. Looking around, her eyes widened in surprise as she realized she wasn't in her hostel room, and Virat was there with her. Strangely, she couldn't remember how she had ended up here.
Meanwhile, Virat remained calm, observing his love in front of him. He took a moment to stretch his arms, then met her curious gaze with a mischievous wink.
"Just Kohli things," he grinned, his expression unreadable to Samaira.
She furrowed her brow, trying to decipher Virat's playful demeanor, but he was too difficult to read.
"Ah! It was the most amazing night of my life," Virat winked, teasing her, which nearly gave Samaira a heart attack as she struggled to remember anything.
She stared at him, fear creeping in as she struggled to digest what Virat had just said. Did he mean what she feared?
"What do you mean, Virat?" she asked, her brow furrowing.
He decided to tease her a bit longer. "Exactly what you're thinking, Sammy!" he replied with a mischievous smile.
Her heart pounded in her chest.
Was he telling the truth? Had something really happened between them? Why couldn't she remember anything?
These questions overwhelmed her emotions, and suddenly she felt a wave of sadness. A tear escaped her eye as she thought about everything and everyone in her life.
Virat's expression shifted immediately. He knew that one wrong move could make her cry, and he couldn't bear to see her in tears because of him.
"Hey! Stop crying, nothing happened. I was just kidding," he reassured her gently.
She looked at him with a pleading expression. "Promise?"
Virat wanted to kiss away her tears right then and there, but he restrained himself. "Promise, Samaira. I won't ever lie to you," he assured her.
"You idiot!" she said playfully, standing up and playfully kicking him with a pillow.
"Ouch!" They both laughed.
Virat then explained everything to her as they packed up from the terrace, leaving out the part where he had confessed his love for her so bluntly the night before. She couldn't say anything but laugh at her own drunken antics.
"Thanks, Virat," she said genuinely, looking at him with a smile. She realized how safe she had felt with him, knowing he had been there to take care of her when she had lost control.
Virat lost himself for the second time in half an hour as he saw her genuine smile. He loved her, and he had known it from the beginning.
"Samaira, I'll always be there for you," he said as they walked back to their hostel.
Two hours later...
Finally, she was feeling more like herself. Stepping out of a hot shower in pajamas and a t-shirt, she received a stern glare from Richa, who clearly had been worried sick about her.
