As the stupid sun shinned in my face, I realized two things.

I didn't want to get up.

And I wanted to sleep more.

But the birds outside my window apparently didn't like that idea; because their stupid little tweets wouldn't cease to grant my wishes.

Ugh. I hate mornings.

Realizing the blanket wasn't doing much of a good job of keeping me warm, I went to reach over to Dahvie, but my arm only hit the mattress, making me open my eyes in confusion.

Instead of his sleeping face, I was met with a tray filled with pancakes, eggs, and French toast.

I blinked. What?

I reached over, grabbing the small folded up paper that had a cute small pusheen cat drawn on the front, before opening it, reading over non other than Dahvie's neat pretty handwriting.

Happy anniversary, beautiful. When you're done eating this, text Mason.
~ Your Dahvie

Smiling, I felt my cheeks get slightly warm from his aknologment. I can't believe I didn't expect this- him to do something cheesy like this. Where was he anyway?

I gave a small shrug, dropping the thought as I just assumed he was in the bathroom, or the kitchen cleaning up the mess he probably made from his amazing cooking.

I sat up and grabbed the tray as my stomach growled, giggling softly as I saw the butter on the top pancake shaped in a heart. He's cheesy, but jeez.

As I stuffed my face, I was thinking on how fast this year went, but so many things happened. He has an abusive boyfriend, he doesn't anymore. He moves, he comes back. We start dating, Stark comes back. He gets kidnapped, he gets hit by a car. His mom gets killed. Then this whole thing happened with Santi, Bob, and of course, Stark.

My chewing slowed down as my thoughts deepened. He's been through so much. Honestly, if I were him, I would end it all. But he is so strong. I don't think I could take it if I lost my mother and my grandmother so close together. Not to mention the whole Stark thing, and the bubullying.

I swallowed the last bit of the meal before sighing. It's almost ridiculous on how much I love him; only after a year.

Finally deciding to stop thinking so much, I grabbed my phone, sending a message to the innocent fucker I like to call my best friend.

I saw Dahvie's note... And I'm done with the food XD

I waited, and about two minutes passed before I finally got a reply.

Good. Okay. Now, get your ass out of bed and get dressed. Go to the park when you're done, and go to the swingset.

I raised my brow. Bossy, much? Why do I need to go anyway?-

And just do it. Trust me. Dahvie said so.

Confused, I looked at the tray. Isn't Dahvie here?

I shrugged. Who knew anymore with my friends?

As I went to my closet, I finally looked over at the table, seeing the clock read 1:26pm. I must've slept pretty well.

I grabbed my black The Neighbourbood shirt, and then my skinny jeans. I changed quickly before brushing my hair and teeth, and doing a mindless swipe of eyeliner for my makeup. I was feeling lazy, so my boyfriend is gonna have to deal with this.
