Hello from Corona Life,

WARNING: If you are sensitive to really extremely cringy scenes that include the author attempting to write out the sappy romantic lines she envisions, feel free to skip this chapter.

Long story short: they go to Campfire, Charlie and Zennzy exchange a few words, and yeah.

But... if you want to read it, go ahead. Don't say I didn't warn you about those cringy and sappy "attempting to integrate romance" lines.

Anywaysss.... Have fun with the chapter~!

Luv u all,

After the morning announcements and Daily Workout, we head over to Rotating Workshop, which, wonderfully, is Lunch Prep. Basically, we help the Lunch Crew prepare lunch and set the tables.

After lunch, my friends and I go to play volleyball, then head over to Science Clinic. To my disappointment, I ended up with Dye-Making, where we made our own colored dye. It was pretty fun though, and I do enjoy it.

During Group Time, we finalize our skit and work on memorizing the parts without laughing every three seconds. I quickly check my scratch, which is healing surprisingly fast. It's already scarred over.

"There's Pool Time today," Jamie tells us. "You guys want to go?"

The eight of us nod and we quickly run back to our rooms to change into our swimsuits. I have a black one-piece with short sleeves. Then head to the pool.

I strap on my goggles and we jump in. The water feels silky and smooth, nice and cold. We spend some time playing water polo and then compete freestyle and butterfly.

After we shower, we hurry off to Dinner, then spend the rest of Free Time playing 21 Dares and Speed.

And finally, the long-awaited Campfire finally arrives. My friends and I sit in our row and wait for Jamie and the boys to come.

Charlie walks over to me and Ezme automatically scoots to make space for him. I glare at her but don't protest as he plops down next to me on my left.

Campfire is normally a lot of singing, laughing, marshmallows and melted chocolate, games, all that fun stuff. The counselors normally do some sort of performance, and I'm pretty eager to see what it is this year.

"You're participating? Right?" I ask Jamie who's sitting to the right of me.

"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not," she replies with a sly grin on her face.

I'll take that as a yes.

We first start off with this game where we have to hold plastic spoons with our teeth and use them to hook on the rubber bands and bring them all the way down our row. It's not as easy as you think, trust me.

Then is the counselor's performance. This year, they decided to put together some sort of skit that has to do with topics of Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Star Wars, and Marvel combined. And I'm right. Jamie plays as Black Tiger (Black Widow) and Mike plays as Frank Chang (Frank Zhang). The play is about how the main characters from each story have to work together to beat the Gaea-Voldermort-Kylo Ren-Thanos enemy. How they managed to do this during their counselor meetings is a mystery to me.

And then, finally, it's my favorite time. By now, the sky is darkening into a beautiful blue-purple-pink combination. More stars are coming out every minute. We get to sing! The songs they've chosen this year include:
