Things were brighter when we were little.
When the spider went up the spout
and never thought of rain.
When Humpty Dumpty felt on top of the world,
on that tall tower wall.
But as you grow up things get harder,
and nursery rhymes get darker.
Your tears washed the spider away
And your grades fell harder then Humpty Dumpty.
Ring-around-the-rosy is about a plague
and Old Mcdonald dies.
