I TOOK A BIG SIP OF THE ICE TEA from the glass i had in my hand, hoping my thoughts would settle down.
i've been anxious since i talked with brantley and i really REALLY wanted to smoke but i refused to.
after i found out i was pregnant with bronny, i made a promise to myself i would never smoke again, and for the past four years i've stuck to that.
"do you wanna tell me why the hell caroline called me telling me i needed to get my ass to your nashville house?"i jumped, looking around to find miranda and carrie standing there with their arms crossed.
"never scare me like that again."i sighed giving them a big ass hug.
"where my beautiful niece anyway?"carrie asked, smiling and i bit my lip.
"lina offered to take her for the night."i said and they nodded before sitting down.
"talk."miranda demanded and i downed the rest of my ice tea.
"i saw bg a couple days ago and it just spooked me."i mumbled, before pouring some more ice tea.
"you fucking what?!"miranda yelled, and i jumped, wincing at how loud she yelled.
"when the hell did you see bg?!"carrie asked, and i sighed.
"he showed up at linas, god knows why when i was picking bronwyn up."i explained, gripping the edge of the table i had.
"god, and bronwyn fucking flipped out on me when i told her i was fine after this. god she thought i hated her."my voice cracked, and my foot started bouncing up and down.
"my demos are done, and they want to start an album. god i'm so fucking nervous."i went on, as i started pacing my back porch.
"i have no idea how people are going to react or how it's going to go over but holy fucking shit."i started to panic, and carrie stopped me dead in my tracks.
"stop for a second."she held my shoulders, "take a deep breath with me ok?"
i nodded, and did what she told me, and soon enough i had calmed down some.
"everyone's going to love the album carter, your voice and music are amazing and i know a lot of your fans are waiting for some new music."carrie explained, and i nodded.
after awhile of the pair convincing me everything was gonna be ok, we had gone on talking about our kiddos.
miranda had a two year old daughter named madeline june "mj" and carrie had a one year old daughter delilah raine. her two boys were so grown up now.
the girls left around 11:30 and i just went around my kitchen letting my mind run around in circles.
after around midnight, i had opened up my notes on my phone and slid down on the kitchen floor.
