Sing a song of days gone by;
Sing my candied lullabies.
An ocean drip in every breath
Will sooth the steady stream of night
A seed of sky sown in your eye
Will still the torrent in your head.
Sing a song of days gone by;
Sing my candied lullabies.
A chord of coral in my voice
To soothe the crackling, breaking noise.
A single shell clutched in my heart
To break the
rift outside my arms.
Sing a song of days gone by;
Sing my candied lullabies.
A heart of diamond beats in pearl
Call your escorts; call your Earls.
A shatter shard of tickling clock
Shall not beach, mock or rock
my small vessel, in water flows;
Time's cruel arms are simple oars!
Sing a song of shells gone by;
Sing my candied lullabies.
