Sing a song, bid days goodbye;
Sing my candied lullabies.
Toes liked by the barren foam
Will stir the tides of moments passed.
Sunken corners of your mind
Will house a stack of broken hearts.
Sing a song, bid days goodbye;
Sing my candied lullabies.
Plastic rings mindless ecstasy
To sedate the crackling shattering sound.
A single shell pressed into my core
By the lashes of a siren's song.
Sing a song, bid days goodbye;
Sing my candied lullabies.
A heart of diamond cracks in pearl
Call your escorts; call your Earls.
A shatter shard of ticking clock
Shall not beach, mock or rock
My small vessel, in water shall sink;
Time's cruel march is a bitter thing!
Sing a song, bid days goodbye;
Sing my candied lullabies.
- Mother
You can and will do better. And it may not mean much to you, but I still believe in you Jill. Even if you don't believe in me.
So I guess this is goodbye.
