We finally arrived at the Midland hotel I started taking my luggage out Megamind started taking bags out the car as we headed to the entrance of the hotel.
"Hello sweetie- oh who's this?" my mother asked coming around the corner pointing to Megamind.
"Hi mum this is Bernard he's... my boyfriend" I replied.
"Boyfriend?" Whispered Megamind.
"Boyfriend!?" Said my mum in utter shock.
"Yes, my boyfriend" I said hoping Megamind will catch on.
"Honey, when did this happen?" My mother asked.
I quickly thought up a lie "Well, mum this happened along time ago I tried online dating and thats where we met I didn't want to say anything because I know how you'd act"
She looks at me saying " Honey you don't know how I act" she runs over to Megamind.
"Well Bernard welcome to the family I'm faith Y/N's mother nice to meet you" she huggs him
Megamind hesitates before hugging back
She pulls back "So are you two going to say hi to the rest of the family"
"Well mum first we need to get the keys to the room and put our stuff inside"
"Oh, ok well come down when your done and we didn't know you was bringing a guest so it's a one bedroom but I'm sure you and your boyfriend wouldn't mind sharing" she says while winking at me.
"Ok mum see you soon" I said my mum pulls me to the side and whispers in my ear
"Oh and honey try keep the noise down we are in the room right next to you"
"Mum!" I said in exaggeration.
Me and Megamind grabbed our bags and walked over to the receptionist.
"Hi, a hotel room booked for Y/N"
The receptionist hands me the keys to the room we walk up the stairs to room 403 I open the door to let us in then dropping the bags on the floor.
"Why did you say I was your boyfriend?" Asked Megamind.
"Sorry it was the only thing I could think of"
I flop on the bed while Megamind switches back to himself he starts to unpack the things from the junk yard. I turn to watch him unpack
"Megamind, why do you have my toster and my microwave?" I asked
"Because the electronic circuits they carry will help with building the portal gun along with the junk yard things"
"Oh ok-" before I could finish the sentence there was a knock on the door
"One minute" I said hiding all the junk yard Items under the bed, Megamind turns the watch to change into Bernard, I then opend the door cautiously
"Hi Y/N, mum said you have arrived, oh and who's this?" Chantel asked
"Oh this is Bernard my boyfriend-"
"Since when! You have been single since high school" Chantel said
Megamind jumps in "Well actually we met online Y/N didn't want to tell you because she knew you would act like this" he says winking at me
