The wish (Megamind x reader)

The morning after

I awoke to the sunrays shining in through the windows, and as my eyes start to readjust I imidiantly realised that me and Megamind changed positions from us spooning to him laying on his back with my leg wrapped around his lower half and my arm around his chest while his arm is wrapped around my body, I look up into his face to see him still asleep he was so cute how he slept I kept thinking about the time I spent with him and the amazing time last night which brought a smile to my face, I looked down the smile now fading as I think that I have to say goodbye to him later today and won't see him again the only one true person I've ever loved oh how I really wished that I didn't have to say goodbye and I wished he could stay with me, I look back up to him his eyes now fluttering open his bright green eyes locking on to mine

"Oh goodmornig Miss Jones" He says smiling sweetly

"Goodmornig" I say back smiling weakly before looking down

He notices that my smile is not a natural one and more of a forced one, his eye brows dart in confusion

"Y/N-" he says lifting my face up "what's wrong?" He asks concerningley 

"It's- it's just that you have to leave later to day and I don't want you to but you have to go because if you stay here you could die and I don't want you to die because. I love you"
I say tears starting to fall from my cheeks

He moves his hand whipping away my tears from my cheeks

"Y/N it's ok-"

"No, no it's not, I've fallen in love with you, your not even ment to be real your a cartoon, and as a kid I drempt of marrying you and just being with you, and to have you in my life now is incredible and everything I could ever wish for but you will be gone in a matter of hours and- and-" I say inbetween cries more tears flooding down my face as I bury my head on Megamind's chest

"Hey, hey hey, Y/N this is nothing to get your self worked-up about, I'm gonna miss you too" he says stroking my hair

"Yeah *sniff* your right I'm sorry *sniff* I'm being selfish arnt I" I say inbetween sobs

"No it's fine" he says calmingly
  I rest my head on his chest listening to his heart beats the rythem was so calming I layed like that for a few muinets just thinking everything over as he strokes my hair

"Hey I've just had an idea" he says

"What?" I ask lifting my head up slightly

"Why don't you come with me"

"To Metro city?" I ask

"Yes why don't you come to metrocity with me" he says eyes sparkling

"You want me to what, wait would that even work, won't I die or something?"

"No, you will be perfectly fine" he reassures me

"How do you know?" I ask

"I'm Megamind and pretty much a genius" he says with a cocky smile,
I giggle slightly

"So, will you come with me?" He asks again

"Ermmm-"

"Sorry, I'm probably moving too fast, you may need time to think"
