"That's the last one." Karin announced while leaning up against the kitchen counter. "I can't believe you're about to be here for a few months. When you said you were going on a retreat I didn't think it'd be for some months, weeks maybe, but not months."
"Yeah well this is just something I gotta do for myself."
"I know Liyah and I'm proud of you for doing this, for seeing something is wrong and facing it head on." She pulled her sister in for a hug. "I'll miss the hell out of you though. I literally just got you back!"
It'd been two weeks since the talk that had brought peace to the Franzese sisters. Karin was totally on board with Aaliyah coming to the rehabilitation retreat because she knew that by the end of her time at the facility Liyah wouldn't be the broken person she was now.
The estate the facility was located on was enormous and housed many people from all walks of life with different issues. Aaliyah has organised to stay here at least three months which could be extended at any time and had been assigned her own little apartment that was beyond beautiful.
