Chapter Fifteen

"Morning everybody! It's DJ Envy, Angela Yee, Charlamagne Tha God, we are The Breakfast Club. We gotta special guest in the building...The Game!" 

"Wassup y'all, we up here chillin." Jayceon smiled. "I'm happy to be here man, I'm really really happy to see y'all."

"See this a new man we talking to right here." Charlamagne said. 

"I mean..a lot of shit has changed since I was last up here. I got a lot to be thankful for. My album just dropped yesterday, I'm an uncle and a father."

Jayceon couldn't help but smile at the thought of his album and the success it had already reach in the last twenty four hours but more importantly, he couldn't help but smile at the thought of his newborn nephew, his son and the woman on his arm that was still a secret to the world.

"That's smile says it all." Angela said with a smile that matched Jayceon's. "Congratulations on the album, your nephew and your son. I think you broke some hearts when you announced that you are a dad. That leads me to ask, how did that all come about? Are you with your son's mother or are y'all co-parenting?"

"First off I just want to make it clear that it wasn't no secret. I genuinely didn't know I was a father and to be honest that has weighed on me since I found out about my son. As a man who grew up without a father I've always vowed to be there for my kids no matter what because I didn't want to be like my dad, yet I had a child in this world the whole time and wasn't there for him. I can't blame his biological mother for keeping him from me because I don't know her situation, all I can do is step up and be the father my son needs me to be. I wasn't ready, no parent is every ready, but I'm glad I have such a wonderful support system in my life."

"So you're a co-parent?"

Jayceon ran a hand down his face. "Nah. Kavari's mom passed away, that's how I found out about him, otherwise I probably wouldn't know about him and wouldn't have for all my life."

"Wow man..that's a lot to take in."

"It is but like I said, I have a great support system and so does my son. He's gonna be good regardless of anything."

And that was true. No matter what had happened in the past, Kavari had a stable and solid family now and not matter what, Jayceon was going to ensure his son had everything he wanted and needed.

"That's really mature of you, not many men would do the same." Angela said.

"Now let's get into this album....."

6 Hours Later..

Getting into the back of the all black Escalade, Jayceon pulled his hoodie off and put his hat back on before grabbing his phone out of the pocket of his jeans. Unlocking it, he went straight to 'Wifey💍' and requested to FaceTime.

It'd been a long day of interviews and appearances at different places and all he wanted to do was see his leading lady and son.

"Hey Baby."

Jayceon smirked. "Who you looking like that for?"

"No one." Karin replied and did her best to hide the smile that began to form. "How's your day been going? I tried to listen to all the radio interviews but your son wanted to play."

"It's been aight..I miss my family though."

"Daddy!" Jayceon heard Kavari yelled in the background before Karin's face disappeared.

"Yo?" He said as Kavari appeared.
