RUMORS OF A "LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS" REMAKE TO BE DIRECTED BY JUNE COLLINS

In case you don't know who she is, let me start this article off by introducing you to your new internet crush, June Collins.

Collins officially started her career off in early 2016 when she helped to direct the Panic! At The Disco music video for 'Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time' alongside Tim Hendrix. The music video caught the attention of Marvel and landed her a small gig on Captain America: Civil War, and after that she went on to work on a few TV shows with friends, none of which ever made it big.

From there, she went back to music videos, directing the I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME MUSIC videos for 'Nobody Likes the Opening Band' and contributed to 'Modern Day Cain' as well.

Collins has made friends in the business, and it was rumored months ago she would be directing an unnamed project starring Sebastian Stan (Gossip Girl, Marvel, I, Tonya), but it was unknown who was running the project, so the rumors died off.

Outside of directing, Collins lives in Seattle with Lucas Cleary. She's denied the rumors of a romance between the two of them many times, telling everyone they're just good friends. But most don't believe her due to Collins' lack of need for a roommate.

She's a frequent customer of Annie's, a diner within walking distance of where her apartment is said to be, and according to her and Cleary's Instagrams, she makes a mean box mix pan of brownies.

Very recently, rumors have begun to surface around Collins' new project she could be working on.

At the beginning of the month, the writer and director went to Instagram, posting a picture of her wearing a Little Shop of Horrors t-shirt, posing with Emmy Evans, a writer she's worked with in the past on smaller projects. Her caption read, "can't wait", and it, of course, got everyone talking.

Many ideas were brought up, but in the end, we're all convinced that June Collins could be directing a remake of the old cult classic.

She's made it clear multiple times on her social media that the 1986 film isn't her favorite version of the musical, so it would make perfect sense that she would want to redo it.

All we need now is for June Collins to confirm it herself.

 "June," he breathes. "I...I don't think that's a good idea."

 I mutter a "You're right," and stand up.

 "It's not you," he assures me, standing up as well. "It's just..."

 "Let's just...let's just forget about this, okay?"

June sleeps for the rest of the day, and Lucas and I sit around watching That 70's Show.

 "I heard you and June talking last night," Lucas says in between episodes. "What was that all about?"

 I shrug. "Couldn't sleep. We had some coffee, watched some Adventure Time. It was tight."

 He doesn't say anything else for a few moments, but then, "Hey, don't tell her I said this, but I think you and June would be cute."

I wake up the next morning and Lucas and Awsten are sitting on the couch watching tv together.

 "Good Morning, Juney-Bug," Lucas smiles.

 "Morning," I mutter, walking to the kitchen.

 Awsten doesn't say anything.

 I take the coffee out of the fridge and make myself a cup before going to the couch to watch tv with the boys, sitting on the other side of Lucas instead of next to Awsten.

 It was so stupid of me to kiss him the other night, and his reaction still stings, but I just need to forget about it. That's what we agreed to do, so that's what I'm going to do.

 But sitting on the other side of the couch, stealing a few glances at me every now and then, I don't think he's going to forget about it.
