-y/n's pov- we spent all day snowboarding and having fun, then later we all decided to meet up and go out to a steakhouse for dinner. when tessa walked in the room from her ski day with daniel i jumped all on her, of course asking for all the details. "oh come on y/n you know i don't kiss and tell" she said smugly "WHAT... YOU TWO KISSED?" i screamed and she quickly put her hand over my mouth shushing me.
"oh... sorry" i said as she moved her hand "so does this mean you two are a thing now?" i asked excitedly "no, we just kissed. i don't even know if he feels that way towards me... it was just in the heat of the moment i guess" she replied kinda sad. "tess he kissed you... obviously he likes you" i reassured her. "i don't know, we'll just see what happens i guess" she said while continuing to get ready for dinner.
we were finally all ready for dinner and headed to the restaurant. when we all got seated it was again tessa beside daniel, me beside tess, and then zach beside me. everyone was laughing and talking about the fun first day they had and plans for tomorrow. apparently we were all going zip lining in the snow tomorrow, according to jonah. which was fine with me... i loved that we were all going to do something together.
the whole time we were at dinner i kept watching daniel and tess together... there's no way he doesn't like her back. i nudged zach and pointed at tess and daniel "do you think daniel likes tessa?" i asked him quietly. he watched them for a second "maybe... he keeps touching her arm or her leg when he talks to her... guys tend to do that when they like a girl" he stated, making me excited for my bestfriend. soon we all finished dinner and headed back to our cabin... i was so exhausted from the day that i instantly crashed when we got back.
𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙮 -zach's pov- we had all gotten to the zip lining location and were informed that it was 'partner zip lining' that jonah had signed us up for. which meant couples would zip line together and you had to have a partner. i was afraid i was going to get stuck zip lining with daniel but last second y/n switched with him leaving him to zip line with tessa. clearly y/n's playing matchmaker here... if that wasn't already obvious.
i must admit, i was actually really excited to be doing this with y/n... because i've actually started to develop feelings for her. it's so strange to say that, because she's been my bestfriend since kindergarten, but the last couple times she's come out to LA i've just looked at her differently than i have all these years. maybe it's because we're getting older, or maybe it's just because she knows everything about me and i've always loved her as a friend. now it's time to figure out if we can ever be more than that... maybe this trip will help me figure that out.
