It had been a week since you and Luke had started dating. He's been working a lot but was off this weekend and you promised to plan him the best surprise date ever. You had planned to play laser tag and drive go karts. Luke had previously mentioned that he loves doing those things with his friends so you figured why not give it a shot. You weren't sure what else you two would do quite yet but that would be enough to last you about 2-3 hours.

You were kind of excited. You had never driven go karts. You were happy your first time riding them could he with him.

You were waiting for him to come to your apartment so you can borrow his car and drive to the place. You didn't have a car in the city and he's been renting one that he said you can drive. You had to drive because it was a surprise.

He knocks on your door soon and you answer it. "Hey." You smile.

"Hi." He smiles back before pulling you to him and kissing you on the lips.

You smiled into the kiss. You loved moments like this that you could cherish forever.

"Ready to go?" You ask him after he pulls away while grabbing your things.

He nods and hands you his keys. You smile and take them and walk down the stairs to the first for then walk to the exit of the building.

You unlock his car and get in before starting it, buckling and adjusting everything so you can drive it. Once everything is good, you start to drive.

Luke was kind of nervous. He had never had a girl plan a surprise date for him. He didn't know what you could have possibly planned. He asked the boys whether she went to one of them or not for help and they all said no. He figured that was the truth because you don't have their numbers and you can't DM them easily like he could DM Brittany. There's too many fan DM's to go through to find yours. He was excited. He loved that you were giving back what he does for you. He had never experienced this in his past relationships. He would always give and the girls would always just take. They would never even think to give back. He couldn't say anything to them though because he was a gentleman and figured this is how it all worked.

"You aren't going to beg for a hint like I do?" You joke.

"Nah." He smiles. "I trust you to bring me on a good date."

"Good. I'm sure you'll have fun." You smile back.

"Did anyone help you plan this for me?" He asks.

"No." You tell him. "Well technically you did. It's something that you've mentioned you love doing. It's kind of a far drive."

"I'm fine with that." He says grabbing your hand that isn't on the wheel.

You smile and kiss his hand.

Luke smiles. He was glad that he had decided to go to that café. He never originally planned on going back, but he just had to see you again. That and he loves muffins and coffee. He thought you were the most prettiest girl he laid eyes on. He felt like he had a middle school crush on you.

He couldn't help but watch you as you drove. He loved as your nose crinkled up and how you'd purse your lips when you were concentrating. If you looked over at him you'd probably find it creepy but he didn't care. You were too gorgeous for him to take his eyes off of you.

After a while you get there and park. You both get out of the car and you lock it. He looks around and smiles. "We're going to ride go karts?"

You nod and smile. "This is part one."

He smiles and kisses your lips.

You both walk inside and you talk to the guy behind the counter and he told you some rules before helping you get ready to ride them. You guys drive the go karts for about an hour and a half before you go to the laser tag place.

On the way there you were both arguing playfully about who beat who while driving.

"I totally won." Luke says.

You knew he was right because you weren't the best at it but you really didn't want him to be right.

"You ate my dust Hemmings." You joke.

He shakes his head and laughs. "Fine we tied equally."

"Deal." You smile.

He smiles back as you park. You both walk inside and play a few rounds of laser tag. Once again he beats you and jokingly loves rubbing it in your face. You kept rolling your eyes to seem annoyed but in reality, you were having the best time ever.

You went to T.G.I Friday's after and got a table and sat before looking at the menu. You and Luke both like this place so you decided to pick it. It was also one of the only restaurants he had ever mentioned liking and you didn't want to bring him somewhere he didn't like. So your best bet was to keep it safe.

You both picked out what you wanted and the server came over.

"Hello, I'm Daniel, I'll be your server tonight. Can I start you off with something to drink?" He asks.

"I'll take a coke please." You tell him.

"I'll also have a coke please." Luke says.

Daniel nods and winks at you before going to get the drinks.

"Did he just wink at you?" Luke asks.

"Uh yeah, he did." You say awkwardly.

He frowns. You were scared he was going to say something so you said, "He probably was just joking around."

"I hope so." He says.

Daniel brings the drinks over soon and takes the food orders.

Luke goes first and then go order and after you order he says, "Anything for you gorgeous."

You saw Luke clench his fist as the guy walked away and you quickly grabbed his hand. "Hey it's okay, calm down. I don't like him. I like you and you only."

He nods and sighs.

You both eat in silence when the food comes out and then you pay the check after.

"Can I leave the tip?" Luke asks.

"Sure, I guess if you'd like too." You say.

He takes the check book and the pen and writes something on the check.

'Here's a tip: stop flirting with my girlfriend right in front of me before I beat the shit out of you.' He writes.

"I feel better now." He says after the guy comes and takes the check and your card so you can pay.

He comes back and drops the check book back off and walks away without a word.

"You scared the poor guy." You laugh.

"Good." Luke says.

You put your card away and then you both leave and walk to the car.

"I had a lot of fun. You're much better at planning dates than I am." He says.

You smile. "I'm glad you had fun. Also that's a lie. I love the dates you plan."

He smiles and kisses you before getting into the car.

You drive back to your apartment and go inside. You both decide to watch a movie and cuddle on the couch.

You loved moments like this and you were happy that it was Luke that you got to spend them with. You couldn't picture doing this with anyone else. You loved having his arms wrapped around you and making you feel safe. You loved everything about him.

Most importantly, even though it hasn't been long, you loved him and that's all that mattered.
