Chapter 9- Final

"You're back!!" Naruto was the first to tackle you when you got to class that day. You grinned at him raising a fist. "Of course! No stupid guy is going to take me out." Hinata walked over bowing. "I'm so sorry." you waved her off. "Quit apologizing will ya, I don't blame you and I'm fine. It only took a few weeks and I'm back to my old self." Sakura leaned against her test.

"I hope you're prepared. Final exams are this week."

You knew. It's all you were looking forward to, for the first time in your life. You wanted to make Itachi proud, after all you went through that's all you could think of. When the door to your class opened and a teacher walked in everyone started taking their seats. You're eyes connected and you visibly blushed at his stare. "It's good that you've recovered Ms. (Y/N)." you nod.

"Y-Yes Itachi-sensei." he smiled,pushing up his glasses. "Let's get to work. "

"Gyah!! My brain is going to explode!!" you screamed tugging at your head. You dropped your head on the table as Itachi let out a sigh. "You should have been studying the notes I sent."

"I-I was!!" you defended. He gave you a blank look and you sweatdropped.

"O-Okay maybe not as much as I should have but it's your fault!"

"How is it my fault?" you blushed.

"D-Don't act like you don't know. Y-You kissed me and now I can't focus on anything!!" Itachi was a bit startled by your confession. You huffed, looking away from him still grumbling. Itachi studied you for a good few seconds. "What am I going to do with you." he couldn't help the smile that spread on his lips.

"How about I make you another bet." you perked up. "A-Another one?"

"If you can get over eighty on all your tests, then I'll kiss you as much as you want." your face flamed up. "W-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING!!" you shuffled back in your seat.

As much as you were trying to deny it, the bet was very appealing. You wanted to kiss him again. There wasn't really anything you wanted more. Your hand pressed to your chest, cheeks still dusted with red. Itachi was looking at you with that brooding expression and those beautiful red eyes. He never kept his contacts when he was around you.

"As much as I want...." you gulped, chancing a look his way.

"O-Okay." you answered quietly. You sat back next to him and Itachi adjusted his glasses.

"So does that mean you're going to stay focused now." you nodded cutely and he patted your head like a dog.

"Good girl."

"Hey (Y/N)-chan let's go and prank Iruka-sensei!!" you denied Naruto's request.

"No can do Naruto, I have an important mission to complete." you said with stars in your eyes. Naruto stepped back with a bead of sweat running down his head.

"Whatever you say (Y/N)-chan."

As the week progressed you tried to keep on task. You really wanted to win this bet. Itachi's lips all to yourself, what else could you ask for. You jotted down notes, and even started asking questions in class when you were stumped on something. Your plan was to ace the test.

"If I get full marks I'll get double kissing time!!" a flame ignited around your body just at the thought.

Kakashi and Gai walked past your leaning form by the desk in the classroom.

"She looks rather committed. "

Gai grinned. "Being youthful of course!! "
