"Remember what I said," Type said, sternly. Techno put up his hands in a defensive manner, "I know. I know. Don't be too obvious, right?"
Type sighed as he stared up at his friend who was now occupying his body. After the mishap while making potions to sell, they had found themselves in each other's body.
The whole situation screamed trouble as he had a test to do, and Techno had magic in him. Magic in which Type wasn't used to feeling.
They managed to find an item to suppress the magic so he wouldn't lose control. Because even if it was a gentle mannered magic within Techno, the wrong move can still cause some degree of damages. Damages both didn't want to risk as they already had enough on their plates.
Luckily they made the antidote for the soul switch, but it unfortunately required a waiting process of ten hours. And as both couldn't risk missing too many days, they had no other choice but to attend their courses for each other.
"Just..." Type raked his hand through his - Techno's - hair, "Just ask Kirigun if you - I - could do the test next week or something if you feel you can't do it."
Techno swung his arm around Type's shoulder, loving how he was now the one who was taller and had a slightly bigger body, "Calm down. I've got this."
Despite his reassurance, Type could only shake his head and sigh once again. He couldn't wait until he and Techno switched back.

Tharn walked into the classroom. He stiffened at a strange scent lurking at the back of the room where Type would usually occupy. He looked over, finding the said boy to be in his seat like always, yet something was off about him.
The appearance was clearly of Type. And while his scent was also Type's, there was a secondary scent mixed in; a scent he knew, but couldn't find the right person to pinpoint it to.
He frowned, trying not to let it get to him as he started his lesson.
"Professor Kirigun," Type's familiar voice called out. Tharn smiled as best as he could and looked up from his documents, only to freeze when he noticed a grin on Type's face.
It was the first time he had seen such a carefree look on the student's face, and damn, it was one of the most beautiful things he had ever witnessed.
"Yes?" he answered, slightly embarrassed when his voice cracked a little.
Type gave a sheepish smile, scratching his nose. His actions made Tharn frown. The person was surely Type but at the same time clearly wasn't. Instead he was reminded of another individual. An individual whose name he couldn't help calling.
"Techno?"
"Ow, how did you know-" Type, or rather, Techno quickly covered his mouth with his two hands. He withdrew his hands and slapped his mouth before letting out a pout.
"I'm not in trouble am I?"
Tharn furrowed his brows, "I...what happened?"
Techno flushed slightly, giving an embarrassed expression - one Tharn wanted to take a picture of, because while it wasn't Type occupying the body, it was still Type nonetheless.
"Well, Type and I were making some potions when I accidentally put in the wrong ingredients. And boom! We switched bodies. Don't worry though, we made the antidote, but it needs to sit for a while before we can use it."
"Why were you and Type making potions in the first place?" He crossed his arms, slightly feeling a string of jealousy at how close they were. Witches were highly protective when it came to potion making, and hardly ever let anyone or anything work alongside them unless it was their lover or family.
But as far as he knew, the two boys didn't appear to be on dating terms. Yet.
"Ah, well you know Type and I became orphans at the same time. And after reaching fourteen we were kicked out of the orphanage we had been staying at. Ever since then we started making potions to sell to make money from. It's the only reason we aren't on the streets anymore and are able to continue education," Techno explained.
Despite the free spirited and outgoing smile plastered on Type/Techno's face, Tharn felt a pang of pain at the information. He hadn't known Type and Techno were orphans. He hadn't known they had to live on the streets at some point, and lived off of making and selling potions.
It made him sick at how society failed to protect them and forced them to protect themselves instead. They were children for goodness sake. Children who had no one to support them and allow them to live freely as they should've.
He once thought it would be better if never met his true mate after he began dating his boyfriend, but to hear such a thing had happened to Type made him angry with society, and with himself. Because damn, the last thing he wanted now was for the boy to enter harm's way.
"Oh, I'm sorry..." Tharn muttered.
Techno waved his hands, flustered at the depressed and guilty look on Tharn, "Ah, it's all good. Really. But anyways, since you know the situation is it possible to move the date of the test Type needs to do."
"Yeah, of course," Tharn nodded.
"Great!" Techno cheered, letting out a big smile as he waved energetically and left the room. The moment he was out of sight, Tharn sighed.
At the exact moment, his phone started ringing. Taking it out, he bit down on his lower lips. It seems he needed to have a proper talk with his boyfriend. He needed to make up his mind once and for all instead of wavering over and over. It was the least he could do for both his boyfriend, and for Type.
