[for 94shasha so you can start off your morning a little happier 😂]

Type would say he was doing a good job hiding from Tharn. Of course it was hard to do so completely since he still had an education to pursue, he tried his best.

Techno wasn't happy about the way he was behaving and always made sure he wasn't going to do anything reckless, but for the most part, he trusted Type enough to let him deal with the situation on his own.

After all, Techno knew well Type was more than capable of making decisions that he best believed would benefit him. And by no means, was he going to let other people change his mind either.

"It's been nearly two weeks," Techno sighed, resting on the palm of his hands. Kengkla took a sip of his drink, and raised his brows. As much as he didn't want to go against his Alpha any further, whatever the situation it was between Tharn and Type was also affecting his relationship with Techno.

Everytime they would meet up, his mate would only sigh and go off in his own world. And Kengkla did not like it one bit. He was selfish. Especially now that he had a mate.

If they were going to be together, then he wanted Techno's mind to be filled completely with him and not about anyone else. Reaching out, he grabbed his mate's hand and planted a kiss. "I think it's time I told you."

Techno raised his brows, looking at him in confusion. He sighed, running his thumb along his mate's hand.

"Tharn and Type are mates," he confessed.

Techno gaped at him, his eyes wide and jaw dropped. He raised his free hand, scratching his head in an adorable manner, clearly unable to process everything. "You're kidding, right?" he asked in suspicion. Kengkla shook his head, "No. They're mates-"

"But Tharn has a boyfriend," Techno exclaimed, earning the attention of those around them. Kengkla quickly placed a hand over Techno's mouth, "Shush, love. Just listen."

Techno nodded, eyes wide. Sighing, Kengkla pulled his hand away. "Tharn has already broken things off with Tar. I don't know what exactly happened, but I have a feeling Type is avoiding Tharn after finding out their bond."

"Shiaa," Techno breathed out. "I don't know how to process this."

Kengkla pursed his lips, an idea forming in his head. "Hey, how about..."

Type was avoiding him, Tharn realized. Ever since the day he and the boy parted, Type would show up nearly last minute to class, only to book out of the class as soon as it was done.

Communication with him was also completely cut off as the younger boy refused all his calls and messages, even his emails. And it frustrated him all the more that he went as far as to cover his scent the moment he would leave the classroom, making it all the harder for Tharn to use his werewolf instinct to find him.

He would've visited his house, but Type had thought ahead and had sneakily placed a spell ( most likely through the help of Techno who was clueless about the whole situation ) on him so he would be unable to memorize the address.

It was clear at this point that Type figured out their connection and was either disappointed or angry with Tharn. Perhaps both. And Tharn couldn't blame him. He wanted to at least be able to explain things properly.

"Alright, what's up?" Thorn asked. Tharn looked at his brother who sat across from him. He raked his hand through his hair, "I messed up, Phi."

Thorn raised his eyebrows, "Something about your mate?"

He nodded, closing his eyes. He had already told his older brother about his situation on the day he and Type shared sparks. His brother had advised him to make things right, and while he had the intention of doing so, it was then that Type also decided to avoid him. He knew how stupid he had been to hide their bond, especially after he broke things off with Tar. And man did he regret it.

"He's avoiding me," he reopened his eyes, meeting his brother's questioning gaze.

"Did he reject you?"

Tharn blanched at the idea of Type rejecting him - the thought so haunting - as he shook his head. Thorn crossed his arms, "Then clearly he has feelings for you, or else he would've chosen the route of rejecting you. And if you can't directly get him to meet you, I say you find someone who can help you contact him. Do you know anyone close to him?"

"I thought about it," Tharn fiddled his fingers together. He did ask Kengkla to help him at some point, but the other wolf made it clear he wanted for Tharn to deal with it on his own, as he didn't want to potentially make Techno angry were he to ever find out. They both knew how protective the boy was of his best friend. "But won't that make him more angry?"

"At least it'll give you a chance to explain yourself, Nong," Thorn smiled encouragingly. He was worried his younger brother would turn rogue if by chance his mate rejected him, but it was also as dangerous for Tharn to keep being stressed about the situation the way he was.

Tharn heaved a sigh and nodded. If Type was going to go as far as using magic, then it should be fine if he played a little dirty too.

Type was pissed. Techno, who knew his life was slightly in danger, quickly grabbed onto Kengkla's arm and exited the room. Tharn looked at Type who refused to look at him with a deep and sad frown.

They stood on the opposite ends of the room, with Type taking a step back everytime Tharn stepped forward. He took a deep breath, "I'm sorry."

Type froze, he glanced at Tharn quickly before looking away once more, crossing his arm.

Damn Techno and his mate made his effort go into vain by getting rid of the spell he put on Tharn, and getting rid of his charm as well. Not only that, but they now forcibly trapped him in the living room of his own home with the very person he didn't want to deal with.

"Why are you sorry?" he asked, his voice raw with bitterness and anger. "I know you hate being mates with a human -"

"That's not it!" Tharn raised his voice, getting closer to Type so he had him trapped between him and the wall.

He peered into Type's eyes, fighting back the urge to kiss him so he could continue explaining himself. "I was scared," he admitted, leaning his forehead against Type's.

His action made the younger one blush and bite down on his lips, unable to find it within himself to think clearly and push him away. "I thought if I told you right away you would reject me. So I tried to get to know you more. And I know that was a mistake on my part, and I'm sorry. But just know I would never hate you for being my mate."

"Liar," Type choked out, feeling his eyes sting. "You have a boyfriend. You don't want me."

Tharn parted his lips in surprise at his words. Taking in the hurt expression on his mate's face, he knew how much he fucked up. He raised his hands, cupping Type's face. "I already broke up with him. Before you got attacked by those hunters. I've wanted you since the moment I met your eyes, Type. But I was too stupid to make the proper choices regarding my feelings. I'll keep apologizing until you're satisfied. But please, don't reject me."

Type took in a deep breath, he leaned forward, resting his head on Tharn's chest and allowed himself to cry. Tharn wrapped his arms around his mate, planting a kiss on his head in a soothing manner. "I won't reject you, stupid Tharn," Type said. "But you have a lot to make up for."

Tharn chuckled, hugging Type all the tighter and inhaling his scent, "Of course."
