Chapter 12

Sasha had begun getting clingy and started trying to spend most her time with Dean. Dean had made an agreement with her that they could hang out after school whenever but not during school and Sasha was spending every moment after school that she could with him. Maybe she was clingy for the drugs? Dean didn't know what was getting into her but she was no AJ.

Speaking of AJ, Dean hadn't seen her with Punk anymore so that was a good sign. They had talked a little considering they had Seth as a mutual friend and Dean was still friends with Roman. Matter of fact he made plans with Roman and Seth after school to hang out. Mainly to avoid Sasha and breathe. Dean had told Seth and Roman about Sasha which caused Seth to smack him upside the head when he complained about it.

"You did it to yourself. I don't feel sorry for you," Seth chuckled.

"At least I get really good sex now constantly," Dean smirked trying to look at the bright side.

"Man did you and AJ ever have sex?" Seth asked.

"We did once on my birthday," Seth's eyes widened slightly in shock,"Don't act completely shocked I mean girls can only resist me for so long."

"Well, how was it?" Seth asked interested since Dean had never waited that long nor actually liked a girl when having sex with them.

"Different. Better than Sasha but it wasn't fast and hot like Sasha it was slow, sensual and just better. It was so different from every other girl and she didn't do anything special she just was special," Dean explained remembering the experience as one of a kind.

"You made love," Seth replied while Dean furrowed his eyebrows.

"I don't even know what making love is matter of fact I've never felt love."

"You love AJ don't you?"

"Shut up, I don't even know what love is," Dean scoffed and rolled his eyes until he thought about it. Before he could get too far into his thoughts Seth and him headed to the parking lot meeting Roman at his car to head to his house.

Dean was chilling in the backseat when he finally realized, AJ was going to be there. His stomach immediately began churning and his palms began to sweat. As they got closer to their house the churning got worse. Dean began to chew on the skin around his nails anxiously until they finally arrived.

"Dean you okay?" Roman asked looking at Dean in the backseat.

"Yeah. Couldn't be better," Dean smiled and got out the car.

They walked in and went up to Roman's room. Luckily their parents had been able to forgive and forget with Dean on New Year's. AJ hadn't come home yet which gave Dean a sense of relief. As his mind began to think about AJ he remembered what Seth said about him loving AJ. I mean he never did love anyone before but he had liked a girl before it just never led anywhere. The more he thought about it the more he began to realize maybe he did love AJ.

"Dean!" His head snapped up looking at Seth and Roman who clearly knew what he was thinking about.

"I did not invite you over to think about my little sister," Roman sighed. "Anyways, I asked you a question which I'm sure you didn't hear so I'll ask again; what's going on with you and Sasha?"

"What? What do you mean? There's nothing going on between us," Dean replied furrowing his eyebrows.

"Dude she's trying to spend every moment she can with you," Dean scoffed getting irritated.

"Fucking shit. All I do is fuck her sometimes. Nothing more. If she thinks she's anything more to me than that that's on her," Roman pursed his lips before replying.

"She's gonna definitely gonna want more soon," Roman said while Seth nodded in agreement.

"And so what? Maybe I'll let it happen it doesn't even matter. It's just high school," Dean shrugged his shoulders not really caring at this point. Yeah he wanted AJ but the more he thought about it, it probably wasn't going to happen.

"Dean it does matter. You'd crush AJ," Seth butted in.

"She left me. I didn't leave her and she ditched me when I was trying to fix things. I'm doing better and if she doesn't want me anyways then that's on her. I should be allowed to move on," Dean ranted getting heated. She crushed him. Not the other way around.

"You're supposed to fight for her. AJ is stubborn and won't give in easily. She's been hurt and just wants someone to show that they truly want her," Seth said and Roman agreed.

"She wants you back trust me. She avoids you cause she knows she'll forgive you if she talks to you because it's what she wants to do. Talk to her today. I give my blessing," that's when the guilt sunk in. Dean couldn't just tell them that he had been on a coke binge with Sasha because it'll completely just contradict everything he just said. Dean sighed and put his face in his hands.

"I didn't come to talk about AJ. You can tell me all this but I'm not gonna fight for a girl who already showed me she doesn't want me," in reality he just couldn't do that to AJ again. Unless maybe he could stop again?

"Well I invited you over to hang out but mostly for you to talk to AJ. I see something between you guys. Something special and you're better for her than her past two exes," Roman said trying to encourage Dean. But wait, two? Two exes? Dean hadn't heard about the one before Punk.

"Okay I'll talk to her. But if she rejects me you owe me $50," Roman shook on it and they changed topics.

They hung out for a couple hours until they heard AJ's door close. Roman immediately began pushing for Dean to talk to her.

"Shouldn't I give her some time to relax first?"

"No. Now go."

Dean sighed and left the room. He stood in front of AJ's room for a solid minute contemplating if he should just book it. Before he could make a decision AJ opened the door. Dean's breath hitched in his throat as he looked at her. He couldn't think of anything to say so he just stood there with his eyes fixated on her until AJ spoke.

"Well are you gonna say anything?"

"I don't know what to say."

"Then why are you standing by my door like you have something to say to me?"

"Because I think I love you," AJ froze in complete shock. Both of them stayed quiet looking at each other for what seemed like forever until AJ grabbed his face and kissed him. Dean kissed back and stepped more into her room so he could close the door. AJ finally pulled away breathing heavily.

"I think I love you too."
