Chapter 48

Third Person's POV

It is Saturday.

Aylin's first day at her job.

She still couldn't believe that the salary would be that high.

"So what? You get 1000 dollars for babysitting a dog?" Selene confusedly asked.

Aylin shrugged.

"They said so. I have no idea."

She grabbed her bag and put it on.

"I'll see you guys later."

The girls yelled bye and she slammed the door shut.

She pulled out her earphones about to plug them on her phone when she stopped.

She was standing right infront of the front door of the apartment building.

"Taehyung?!" She asked, more to herself.

He was sitting on one of the benches, scrolling on his phone.

She walked over to him.

"Taehyung?!"

He looked up, showing her his boxy smile.

"Hello!" He waved, "Are you ready for your first day of work?"

He got up from the bench.

"Yes... but what are you doing here?" She looked up at him.

"I came to take you to work... doesn't it look like it?"

"Yes. But I know where the work is, you didn't have to come. I'm sure you had more important business to do."

They started walking.

"Nah! I'm free all day, we can do whatever you want." He shrugged.

"No motorcycle today?" She raised her brow.

"Nope." He shook his head, "The girl I came to meet here isn't really a fan of motorcycles."

"Damn right!"

He laughed.

"Are you excited?"

"I'm more nervous. I love dogs and all but I will have to earn their trust and stuff."

"You got this! I believe in you." He smiled down at her.

She smiled back, but then turned her head away before he could see her blush.

She's not usually the girly girl to get all giddy about guys but Taehyung was another case.

They reached the location in time.

"I will work now so you need to g-"

Aylin stopped talking when Taehyung walked past her and into the pet store.

"Taehyung!" She confusedly said before following him.

Taehyung walked inside, greeting Aylin's co-workers before turning to her.

"Yes?"

"What do you mean yes? Get out." She whisper yelled at him.

"I'm here to see my son!"

Aylin was taken aback.

"Your son?"

"There's my boy!" Taehyung exclaimed as a cute little puppy ran towards him.

He easily picked it up on his arms.

"This is Yeontan! My son!" He smiled holding the dog beside his face.

"Yeontan! This is Aylin. Say hi!" He took Yeontan's little paw to 'wave' at Aylin.

She couldn't help but smile.

"Hi!" She waved back.

Aylin sighed.

With Taehyung being there... she knew it would be a looooong day today.

Eveleen had gotten a job at the local Starbucks in Seoul.

The girls lived very close to it so it was very easy to just walk there.

She had given her last customer her drink before another one came running in.

"Excuse me!" He called out.

Eveleen sighed quietly before turning around and walking over to the customer.

"Hey! Welcome! Can I get your order?" She placed her fake welcoming-customer- smile on and waited for his reply.

"An Iced Cocoa Cloud Machiato."

Eveleen typed it in on her computer and he payed.

"Coming right up. Oh and Name?"

He smiled.

"Jooheon!"
