Third Person's POV

Eveleen grabbed her coffee she got here from Starbucks and her bag and was on her way home.

She exited Starbucks stopping dead on her tracks.

The guy she had just given the drink to, was waiting outside, looking straight at her.

Jooheon was it?

Yeah...

His name was Jooheon.

She avoided eye contact and turned to walk towards her apartment.

"Eveleen!"

Her eyes widened.

"Eveleen, wait up!"

She quickened her pace.

Oh man!!

She hated this.

It was already very late and honestly, nowadays you only have yourself to trust.

No one, no stranger would put themselves in danger for you.

"Evelee-"

"LET ME GO!"

She yelled.

He had just gotten a hold of her.

"Eveleen, calm down. I'm a friend of Namjoon's. I'm Jooheon."

Why did this name sound so fucking familiar?

She thought.

"What do you want?" She glared, getting her hand out of his grip.

"I'm here to warn you."

"About what?"

"Namjoon?"

She was confused.

"Namjoon knows about your mother but he is hiding it from you. I heard him talking to J-Hope the other day."

She gulped.

There's no way Namjoon would lie...

Right?

She was doing her part of the deal and he had to keep doing his.

"What are you talking about? Namjoon tells me everything."

It was true.

Every new lead they had gotten he told her.

"If you trust him then fine. But I have been working along side J-Hope. I know everything that he is not telling you. Here is my number," he handed her a piece of paper, "If you make up your mind call me."

He said before walking away.

"Why aren't you just telling me now?"

But with a smirk on his face, he just walked away.

"Fuck!" Eveleen sighed to herself.

She walked back home, all the time thinking about what Jooheon had said.

Why did his name sound so familiat though?

Maybe her mind was so full of name from people ordering all day, that she didn't really pay attention.

She unlocked the door to their apartment and walked inside.

She made it to her room without saying anything to the girls.

They were watching a movie so she didn't want to bother.

It was 11 pm.

She deserves an applause for getting home that late.

As a woman.

It was late.

She wanted to call Namjoon and ask but didn't.

After changing to her pyjamas, she went to bed.

Turning and turning back and forth, finally she drifted off to sleep.

--

The next day, Eveleen was up and ready.

She was on a mission to find out what had happened.

She didn't like that she trusted that man more than Namjoon.

He had been acting very differently lately.

It made her suspicious.

She pulled up to his house and was about to knock on the door when she noticed voices in the garden.

Quietly she walked, trying not to let her heels click on the floor.

"Dude no!"

Was that Namjoon?

"What do you mean no? We have to let her know!"

That was probably J-Hope.

She put her head out of the corner, just enough to see but not for them to see her.

Yep!

She confirmed her thoughts.

"We cannot let her know yet. We aren't even sure ourselves!"

Namjoon sighed.

"Dude! Let's do a fucking DNA test. What's the big deal out of this?"

J-Hope suggested.

DNA test.

Did they find her mother?

What is the DNA test about?

"No! Not yet. We got to keep quiet. I have to solve my issue on getting rid of Chelsea. She's still so presistent. I will tell her later."

"Namj-"

"Dude! If she finds out now she will leave!"

No she won't.

Tears were rolling down her face.

She trusted him and he was only using her.

She turned around and began walking away.

Pulling out her phone she dialed a number.

"Is this Jooheon?"
