Chapter 65

Third Person's POV

Everyone was in tears.

Everyone was crying.

It was so emotional for them.

Eveleen sat there on the floor, wrapped on her mother's arms.

She felt so safe.

Finally, she felt safe and happy.

"Hyo Rin." Soo Jin cried.

Eveleen pulled out of her hug and turned to face her.

"Don't cry. No! Don't cry." She reached over and wiped the tears of her face.

"I missed you so much." Soo Jin took both of Eveleen's hands, placing soft kisses on them.

"Why did you leave me then?" She finally asked.

The question she has been wondering all her life.

Why did her mother leave her?

Why didn't she take her with them?

Why did she only take her brother?

Was she not worthy enough?

Didn't she love her at all?

She had so many questions.

But she only asked that one.

"I... I didn't leave you." Soo Jin shook her head, "I swear! I swear I didn't leave you."

"Y-Your father... H-He chased us. I had you and Yoongi with me. He chased us and we had a car accident."

"He... He told me y-you died. I didn't... I didn't get to see you. He just... took me a to a grave and told me... you were laying there."

"He.... He had taken you to an orphanage, just so I wouldn't take you. I found out recently...  Yoongi told me."

She cried.

"I would never leave you. You're my everything."

Eveleen tried to stop her tears.

"All these years! I've lived in misery. I... I was abused every night... I..." She cried.

"Everything is his fault.... Everything... He destroyed my life... He destroyed ours..." Eveleen wiped her tears way.

She looked at her mother who sat there, tears rolling down her face.

"I will kill him!"

Eveleen got up, grabbed the knife that was beside the cake and ran out.

Everyone was so in shock until they finally ran after her.

"EVELEEN!" Namjoon ran, catching up her in no time.

"No!"

"Eveleen!" He grabbed her hand and slightly pulled on her.

She was pulled back to his chest.

He put his arms around her.

She struggled for a bit before melting into the hug.

"He destroyed me."

Namjoon held her.

Tightly.

"Shhh!"

"I wanna die."

"No!" Namjoon shook his head, pulling out of the hug, placing both his hands on either side of her face.

"I won't let you die... From now on I will protect your from any harm in this world. I promise you. I won't let anyone harm you ever again."

She just looked up at him as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I promise you. I will kiss every mark on your body. I will replace all that pain and fear with unimaginable happiness. I will make you so happy, you will forget all this pain."

He placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Let's go back to the house. You gotta be with your mom."

She smiled before getting on her tippy toes and placing a kiss on his lips.

They were soft.

So soft.

She melted into the kiss.

"As much as I would love to continue this," He smiled into the kiss, "we have to go back."

Hand in hand, they returned back to the house.

"Eveleen, what do you think you're doing?" Soo Jin scolded her.

She put the knife down and ran to her mother's arms.

"Don't be mad at me."

Soo Jin wrapped her arms around her daughter, smiling.

"I could never."

Yoongi and Beomgyu walked up to them wrapping them arms around them.

"I never knew Yoongi was such a sweetheart." J-Hope said to the guys before Yoongi flipped him off.

Everyone bursting to laughter.
