Seonghwa freezes as he hears the voice of a girl. The girl pushes him outside into the sun as the others notice him.

'Oh he's awake!' The drunk one says as he points at the prince.

Seonghwa knows for sure that they're not from the capital, since they don't know his face. If they had known, they would be begging for forgiveness right now.

'Drop the sword.' The girl says and Seonghwa releases the sword onto the ground.

'I dropped it, now drop your gun.' Seonghwa says and the girl scoffs.

'I'm not going to.' She says and Seonghwa slowly reaches into his pocket.

'That's not fair then.' He says calmly and suddenly takes out the pocket knife. He turns around abruptly and hits her gun away.

The girl still holds onto the gun. Seonghwa tries to attack her but she dodges swiftly. The two go back and forth, trying to immobilise the other but failing.

After Seonghwa throws a punch, which the girl dodges, he feels the immense pain from his shoulder. He winces and the girl takes the chance to kick the knife away and point her gun at his face.

Seonghwa stares with a serious gaze at the girl as she stares at him as well. He catches his breath and holds onto his shoulder as he gets to see the girl's face for the first time.

She has middle length brown hair, and a small face. She looks at him with fearless eyes as she points a gun at him.

'Gosh Jen put away the gun.' One of them says as he approaches the two.

But they still stare at each other like they have some lifelong grudge.

'He was going to hit that alcoholic.' Jennie says as she puts a lollipop in her mouth, with the gun to pointing at the raven haired guy.

'I have a name you know!' The blond exclaims and the girl looks the the mature looking guy.

'What do we do with him now?' Jennie says to their captain.

'Put your freaking gun away for gods sake.' Hongjoong says as he flicks the girl's forehead. Seonghwa watches them interact with a confused expression, but then, he winces.

'Ah...'

Hongjoong looks to the wounded male and sees his shoulder bleeding through the bandages.

'Yeosang! He's bleeding again!' Hongjoong says as he goes to help the male, holding his arm to help support him.

Another guy rushes over to the male and move him to the room he was originally in.

'Sorry about her... she can be aggressive sometimes. We're not here to hurt you.' Hongjoong says and Seonghwa could tell he could trust his words.

Seonghwa lays down on the bed with the help of Hongjoong and Yeosang. The doctor cuts open the bandages and treats the reopened wound quickly.

'This is going to hurt.' Yeosang says and puts a towel in his mouth. Seonghwa bites into it as the pain increases immensely. It feels like his shoulder is being ripped open.

Hongjoong watches in horror as it's obvious the man is in a lot of pain. Yeosang finishes up quickly despite having little tools, being the skilful doctor he is.

Seonghwa finally sighs in relief as he takes the towel away from his mouth.

'I'll go get him some pain killers, be right back.' Yeosang says and leaves the room. Hongjoong goes up to close the door.

Seonghwa tries to calm down with his heavy breathing when he's startled by Hongjoong immediately bowing in front of the man.

'Forgive us, your highness.' Hongjoong says as his forehead is practically on the ground.

'You knew?' Seonghwa says and Hongjoong nods. The prince struggles to sit up, and the captain quickly goes to help him.

'I'm sorry for the rudeness your highness. They're not from the capital so they do not know of your face.' Hongjoong says as he kneels in front of the royalty, keeping his head down.

'Why didn't you tell them?' Seonghwa asks curiously, not minding the disrespect too much.

'I didn't see your face until just now, and you didn't reveal your identity, and so I suspected you didn't do so for a reason.' Hongjoong says in a mature manner.

Seonghwa sighs seeing him seem kind of scared of him.

'You can look up. And please treat me like a normal person, I'd feel more comfortable that way.' Seonghwa says and Hongjoong gets up.

He nods awkwardly.

'I'd prefer if you didn't tell them, or they would probably freak out.' Seonghwa says and Hongjoong laughs.

'They would, your highness. They have the brains of 5 year olds.'

Seonghwa chuckles softly.

'And call me Seonghwa. People around me do so as well so don't think of it as being disrespectful.' Seonghwa explains and Hongjoong nods understandingly.

'Do you mind if I ask what happened to you?' Hongjoong asks as he sits on the chair in the room.

'Assassins invaded my ship and tried to kill me.' Seonghwa says as he recalls what had happened. He holds onto his shoulder, remembering the pain when he was holding onto his dear life while hugging a piece of broken wood from the ship.

'It's a miracle you survived, you lost so much blood.' Hongjoong says, before Yeosang comes into the room again.

'Here's some painkillers.' Yeosang says and hands him some pills and water.

Seonghwa takes the pills.

'By the way, who saved me from the waters?'

Hongjoong looks to Yeosang, and they exchange nervous looks.

'Jennie did.' Yeosang says and Hongjoong clears his thought. Seonghwa looks at them with a curious look.

'The girl who pointed a gun at you did...'
