11. Home Town Calling

Bella’s POV

I was in a complete shocked state when Clint answered “Her name is Bella” I hate you Clint why are you acting like an enemy?

Then he introduced Emma and Charlie also. Clint was going on chatting with both of them but Daniel was ignoring him and staring at me. I was so afraid by now and I can see tension on Charlie and Emma’s face also.

When Daniel started walking towards me I announced “I want to go home and get some rest, can we leave?” I asked facing Charlie. Daniel left without saying anything with an angry expression. Everyone was looking at each other with a blank expression.

Mike – “Aa… He is..aa, just ignore him" he was unable to justity his buddy's action. "Ok then I think it’s time to leave; it was nice meeting you all. Take care Bella” he smiled at me and looked at Emma and then he also left.

When mike left Emma sat on the nearby chair and buried her face in her palms. Charlie went to the window and looked outside and said “They had left.” Clint was standing there with happiness and said “I don’t believe this I met Daniel Dixon and Mike Taylor in person, this is my best day ever” he said excitedly.

My worst day ever I was cursing mentally. Then we all left the café and got to our respective homes. Emma and I both were sitting in the living room couch in our pyjamas and discussing today’s incident. We got charlie's message that the video has been taken down by someone now it is not there.

I sighed in relief and Emma helped me to go to my bedroom then she also went to sleep. Daniel’s angry face was displaying in my mind. I was happy that he didn’t recognize me but I was not able to forget the morning incident. I feel sorry for insulting him. I could have pushed him and ran away and shouldn’t have thrown water on him but it’s done and I can’t change it. After sometime I was asleep.

Next day in the morning my knee was all ok I was able to walk on my own. I got ready and went to the kitchen where Emma was already making the breakfast for both of us.(Bella's dress at the top)

Emma – “Hey Bella how is your knee?”
Me – “It’s all ok now, what are you preparing?"
Emma – “Pancakes, Grab a plate and eat”

We ate our breakfast and left for our work. I drive to work.I reached the office and I met Eliza, she gave me a warm hug “Hi Bella good to see you, I was thinking about you. We have a new event and guess where is it?” she asked me excitedly.

“Ahh…. Paris? London?” please say yes. She slapped on my arm and said “It’s in New Jersey and I want you to be the manager of the event, you can also meet your parent’s. Your mother’s complain will be settled that I don’t give you a break” she said happily. “It’s good I think I need to stay away from this place for sometime”

“Why what happened something is wrong here? She asked with a questioning look on her face. “No I just miss Mom and Dad, When is the event? I tried to change the topic “Oh it’s an event organised for orphanage children’s and it's after 3 days, take this file it has complete details and by tomorrow you have to leave and Nathan will be joining you there.” “Oh its good Nathan is a good company” I thanked her.

It will be great for me to visit mom and dad and get over this Daniel thing.

“Hey Eliza don’t tell mom that I am coming I will give a surprise to them.” I told her. “Ok honey I will not tell her”
