15. Event Invitation

Bella’s POV

The event ended well and it was time to wrap up the things and say good bye to New Jersey. I bid good bye to my parent’s and headed back to our apartment. I reached late at night by 11pm. Emma was already asleep I had messaged her don’t wait for me. I took a quick shower and went straight to my lovely and comforting bed.

I woke up late and got ready had my breakfast and went to café as today is Saturday I have no work but Emma is in her café.

“Hey Emma” I gave her a warm hug and we both settled in one of the table and we were discussing about my event in New Jersey when Charlie came in. I explained them the whole thing about Daniel and his mom, how he wanted to get me arrested and what I did to him affected his family. They both listened and gulped all the details coming out of my mouth but were happy to know that the matter his solved.

“Hey girls I have a good news. I got a new project and guess what I am the head in this project.” He finished with excitement. “Wow great Charlie” we both congratulated him.
I got a call when I looked at the caller id it was from Sam.

Me – “Hey Sam how are you?”

Sam – “hello bella, I am fine and guess what I am in New York”

Me – “When did you reach? Where are you now? And why didn’t you inform me that you are coming ?

Sam – “I will answer all your questions if you look back”

It took a minute for me to register his words and what did he meant. I turned back to see he was standing right at the entrance with a smile and waving his right hand towards me.

I ran towards him and hugged him. “I missed you so much” “Me too” he replied. We joined Charlie and Emma. I introduced Sam to both my friends. Emma knows about Sam has I have mentioned her about him before. But they never met face to face.

Emma leaves to continue with her work in the café while rest three of us places our order.

“Hey Bella my company is organising a party for our investors on Monday and I want you to organize. I had already talked to Eliza and asked her to make you incharge for this event. She had already agreed.” He said looking towards me. “Don’t worry we will organize the way you want.” I answered him with a smile.

“I want you to meet someone and bring your friends also for your company.” He said and I nodded

Charlie got a call and he went to take the call. Sam looked at me and said “Grandpa wants to meet your parents he told me to request them if they can meet” he gave me a sad smile.

“You know mom has not yet forgiven him for what he did to them, I don’t know if she will agree” Sam took my hand in his hands and said “Can you please try and convince her for me please, I really want them to meet Grandpa he is a changed man now”

“I also want to meet him, I will try my best and let you know” I nodded with a smile. Sam gave me a hug and I happily accepted it “You are the best, I love you Bella” he said with a peck on my cheeks.
