"The words that I write are so dear to me that sometimes I feel like I have written them with my own blood instead of ink and by the time I realise I can't hold them hostage anymore...I'll be long gone." it felt like Jeongguk's inner thoughts could finally come out after years.
"Why do you think that?" the boy asked with a hint of concern in his voice.
but Jeongguk didn't want any kind of sympathy from the world, everyone has broken thoughts,way more painful pasts than him. even if he'll be gone, the world around them will still go on.
"I dont know, I just feel like my purpose of living is dead so why waste my time living these dreadful days? I mean all it takes is just a little push and you are falling off the edge. but I dont know why I can't do it. guess it's really tough to give up and let go of yourself." Jeongguk's voice was laced with honesty and emptiness as he kept going.
"when I started my teen years I spent most of my days locked up in my room hiding away from the outer world and as the time moved on I was struck with the venom of love and I decided to let go of my fears and step out of my shell but as they say everything has a price and for me that price was my happiness. I was betrayed and tortured by the fucked up world and that same world held a cigarette close to my lips and forced me to light it up and smoke my sorrows away. "
"The world didnt force it upon you. You clung to the thought of never being happy again and your heart couldn't do anything but accept it. if the night filled with terrors keeps haunting you then you need to remember that a peaceful morning will shine upon you too." The Boy spoke with a soft tone despite the strong words he used.
Jeongguk finally sighed saying..."and soon that morning will be shattered too with another painful night. "
