Months past and Mariana and Jaxon had managed to keep their relationship a secret to those they didn't want to know. William was a little suspicious of what Jaxon was doing when he all of a sudden went out almost every day and didn't return until it got dark. Jaxon thought somehow, William knew he was doing something he wouldn't like, he just didn't know what yet. It occurred to Jaxon that William was trying to fill up his diary, so he wouldn't be away from the family for as long as he usually was.
Today Mariana and Jaxon had been together for four months. Jaxon didn't know how he had even kept it a secret for four months. He was happy he had Louis to discuss it with. He was extremely happy, and he was already thinking about telling her he loved her even though it had only been four months. He was going to take her out today and as he was leaving to go pick her up William ruined his whole plan.
"Where are you going now, Jaxon?" William asked with his eyebrows raised. He knew Jaxon would lie.
"I need to go to the store for something," Jaxon lied. The worst lie ever but still he didn't question him on it further.
"It can wait, we have a party to attend tonight," William said
"What for?" Jaxon asked
"Mr Castor is having a party in my honour and he and Rachel want you to go" William smiled
"Why is it, your honour?" Jaxon asked. Why would anyone want to celebrate this man, he thought.
"I'm running for Mayor this year," William said proudly
"Oh okay," Jaxon sighed. He knew there was no way of getting out of going to this party.
"Go get dressed for it," William said, walking off leaving him standing at the front door wondering what the hell to do. William knew he had ruined his son's plans but he knew his son was up to something and he would not have him disgracing the family name.
Jaxon made his way to his room, so he could call Mariana without getting caught.
"Hey, Jax, what's up?" Mariana asked
"I have bad news about tonight," Jaxon said
"Oh, Are you okay?" Mariana said, sounding worried "What happened?"
"Mr Castor is throwing a party for my dad because he is running for Mayor this year," Jaxon said with a sarcastically excited voice.
"There's no way you can get out of this one" Mariana said. Jaxon was glad she understood, not that he expected her to be angry with him.
"I really want to see you," Jaxon said "I haven't seen your gorgeous face in a while"
"I want to see you too," Mariana said "Actually, we can see each other"
"What have you got in mind?" Jaxon asked
"You could sneak out of the party, right? I mean your dad will be the centre of attention, he won't have time to watch you all night" Mariana said
"And then what?" Jaxon asked
"I'll dress up fancy and you can tell me the address, I'll get a bus or something and we can go somewhere fancy Uptown, you won't get caught because all of your dad's friends will be at the party," Mariana said
"It's quite handy having you as a girlfriend" Jaxon said
"I know I'm great" Mariana giggled "So text me the address and time and I'll be there"
"I can't wait to see you" Jaxon smiled to himself
"Who are you talking to?" Stephanie asked coming into the room
