Chapter 19 - Horrible

After the engagement party I decided to go straight to take a shower and then to bed when I saw I had a message from Angie on my other phone... On Jeremias' phone to be exact.

The whole text from her was just heart breaking that I just couldn't go to sleep without calling her so I decided to go out for a walk and then call her, just to make sure no one will hear me talking.

I was sitting in the park when I decided to call Angie. It wasn't so late at night so I was hoping she'll pick it up and she did...

- Hi, Jeremias! - she said in a cheerful voice. It made me smile.

She was truly happy to hear about me... About Jeremias. But it was good to hear her voice before sleep...

- Hi... I just now saw your message... Are you okay? - I asked her.

- Yeah, yeah... I just missed you... That's all - she replied and I could sense she was blushing as she said that.

- Are you blushing now? - I asked her cheekily.

- N-No! Yes...

- You're so adorable...

- No, I'm not! - she snapped.

- Yes, you are... - I said, smiling - Anyway... I promise I'll see you tomorrow in the Studio, okay? So no need to be sad anymore!

- I'm already feeling so much better that I can hear your voice - she said happily - Thank you, Jeremias... You can always made my day...

- It's my pleasure - I replied - But now you go and get some sleep... Okay?

- Okay... Good night - she said then she added quietly - I love you...

- I love you too... - I replied before hanging up.

I feel awful for fooling her... But I can't let her go... I can't! I know I sound pathetic... Because I actually am pathetic....

The next morning I was in the kitchen when Angie came to Vilu so they can go together.

- Angie! - I gasped when I saw her and it made her jump.

- Ah, jesus! You scared me! - she said.

- Sorry... - I smiled awkwardly - Anyway... How are you doing?

- Fine. Why?

- I just... I haven't seen you yesterday...

- I'm fine... Not like if you'd care about me anyway - she groaned coldly - Just care about Esmeralda.

- Angie, you're part of out family. Of course I want to know if you're okay, or not!

- It doesn't seem like you care at all - she said, now sounding really sad.

- Angie...

- Ah, good morning, Angie! - said Esmeralda who just came to the kitchen then kissed me on the cheek which made Angie even more stressed and she just walked out.

Sometimes tells me now that Esmeralda and Angie hides something from me... I wonder what though.

I've been in the Studio already in Gregorio's class and I couldn't get Angie out of my mind.

- Jeremias! - Gregorio shouted and everyone was looking at us.

- Yes? - I muttered.

- I really don't care what problems you have in your personal life, but you're at work now so focus, or I'll get you fired!

- Okay, okay...

- Good!

Such a grumpy asshole...

Luckily the class ended very soon and as soon as it happened I went out of the class, straight to the teacher's room and I saw Angie was the only one in there.

- Good morning, beautiful - I smiled when I saw her.

- Good morning... - she smiled weakly at me - How was your first class with Gregorio?

- He shouted at me once again... So nothing special at all - I sighed and she giggled.

- I see - she sighed as she hugged me which made me really happy.

- But seeing your beautiful face just made my day really happy - I added as I leaned in to kiss her, but then Gregorio came in and we turned away from each other, but still grinning and we continued our day as we always do.
