Chapter 14 - Pablo

When I finished with my lesson I went to the teacher's room and Pablo was the only person there, sitting at his desk.

- Hello, Jeremias - he said, coldly.

- Hi... Pablo - I replied as I went to make some tea.

- What's up with you and Angie lately? You seem to like each other...

- Yeah, uhm... We're good friends...

- Only friends?

- What do you mean by that? - I asked him, now getting annoyed.

- Keep your distance from Angie...

- Why? As I heard your girlfriend is Jackie. Or Am I wrong?

- Don't get so cheeky, or I'll just fire you!

- Now you're threatening me?!

- Enough! - we heard a familiar female voice from behind and turning around we saw Angie standing at the door with Jackie, looking at us, shocked.

- What was this all about?! - Jackie snapped at Pablo and I decided to leave the room and Angie followed me out.

- What happened there? - Angie asked me as we got out of the room.

- Better ask him about it... - I groaned - He wants me to keep my distance from you.

- Why?!

- Because he's jealous.... Atleast I think.

Crap! Why did I say that?!

- Jealous, huh?

- Yeah...

- Why would he...? Ah, you know what? I don't care anymore... Let's just go! - she said the pulled me with her out of the Studio straight to the park.

We sat down to our bench in the park and Angie sighed deeply.

- I'm sorry, Jeremias... - she sighed - I shouldn't have pulled you with me out here...

- It's okay... - I replied - I'm always here for you... And I will always be here for you...

- Thank you, Jeremias... - she smiled softly at me then she leaned closer to me. I think she was about to kiss me, but I was faster and I kissed her - Ah god... - she giggled as we broke apart.

But before I could say anything we suddenly heard a voice from behind us...

- So I was right...

It was Pablo.

- What do you want now? - hissed Angie - Why aren't you with Jackie now?

- Jackie is in her class now... But what's up between you two? And now be honest, please! I need to know!

- Why exactly?

- Why? Because... Because I'm your best friend after all and I want to know what's up with you lately?

Meanwhile Angie and Pablo were arguing I got a message from Ramallo that we need to meet so I decided to leave them alone, but before that...

- Angie... - I interrupted - I need to go now, but I have something to ask of you...

- What is it...? - she asked nervously, but since Pablo was still here I decided to be quiet and whisper into her ear.

- Would you like to be my girlfriend? - I asked very quietly and I could see she blushed deep red as I said this - Just think about it...

Then I looked up at Pablo...

- Have a nice day, buddy! - I said then I walked away.

What the hell did I just say?! Did I really ask her to be my girlfriend?! But I do want her to be my girlfriend! I always wanted her to be mine... But this is wrong. I went to the Studio to be close to Vilu, but then I saw Angie broken and sad... And I just couldn't resist not to be with her...

I know I'm stupid... I'm a stupid lover that I'm so confused...
