(Y/N) felt like throwing up, and then running away in both relief and embarrassment. (That particular order was not her desired one, but it was what seemed to be par for the course for her.) Yes, that summed up quite aptly her feelings while she waited with baited breath to meet BTS at their fan meet.

It seemed that (Y/N) had managed to get from her bed in her shitty hotel room to the venue of BTS' fan meet, but how she got there was truly beyond her own comprehension. She had almost definitely been running on autopilot the whole day due to her endless apprehension and anxiety.

A million thoughts and worries swarmed around her head like hornets, making her nervous headache worse.

What the fuck was she expecting from meeting the boys?

What was she actually going to say to them?

Were they even going to believe her little soulmate story?

Oh, and- what of the gaping, shitty language barrier?

Of course (Y/N) could not find the answers to any of her questions, but fortunately or otherwise, they distracted her long enough that she was gently pushed into standing in front of the first member in line; Kim Seokjin.

She couldn't describe how or why, but her first thought looking at Jin was that he certainly looked the part he played; any semblance of the genuine emotions (Y/N) was used to him displaying with his members seemed to be hidden under the sheen of ethereal beauty and his persona as an idol.

Jin greeted her with a smile in a customarily polite tone as he asked her name, and while he didn't seem insincere or indifferent at all, the girl got the feeling that he was so tired he would rather be anywhere else in that moment.

(Y/N) didn't want him to feel that way; like he had to force anything or put on a show for her. While the idol got busy signing her album, she desperately wanted to say something to him; tell him that he could relax, but she didn't know how to in a way that he would understand where she was coming from.

It was then that Jin's eyes glazed over the question sprawled on a sticky note in (Y/N)'s neatest handwriting:

Do you believe in destiny and/or soulmates? Yes / No

After much deliberation (in other words, after hours of crying out in frustration and listening to comfort music for inspiration), (Y/N) had decided to ask that particular question, wanting to be as straight-forward and direct as possible.

"Hard question," Jin mused curiously before glancing up and actually looking at the girl in front of him for the first time since she stumbled forward in the queue.

As haplessly cliché as it might sound, it felt like the entire world suddenly became insignificant to the singer; as if he had ascended to another dimension of reality where everybody was blurred and out of focus, everybody but her.

The feeling seemed unreal, but Jin felt all his fatigue wash away as he gazed into her eyes. (Y/N), who had previously been bemoaning how little she had said to the man in front of her, was the exact same in that she hardly took notice of a staff politely but firmly asking her to move along because she was so captivated.

So it was like this; still reeling from the unexpectedly magnetic (and frankly scary) attraction she felt towards Jin, that (Y/N) found herself standing in front of none other than Suga.

The rapper, who looked especially breathtaking that day with his hair a curly mess, greeted her with the same courtesy she had received from Jin and then promptly got to signing. (Y/N) in turn, frankly relieved not to be the center of Yoongi's focus for a few seconds, became increasingly aware of the not-so-casual looks Jin threw her way.
