Despite the (slightly excessive) amount of times he had complained about the tiring almost-hike up to (Y/N)'s 'secret' destination, even Jin couldn't deny the beauty in the sight that greeted him and the rest when their journey finally came to an end. Up there, the name 'Haneul' park, translating literally to 'Sky Park' suddenly made perfect sense. The view was absolutely unparalleled, and the azure blue sky seemingly so close that it felt like you could just reach out and touch the clouds.

"Whoa, (Y/N) ... how'd you even find out about this place?" Namjoon questioned, his eyes wide in curious wonder.

"I ... Googled it." The girl's uncertain, almost sheepish statement brought out a few laughs from everyone; even Jungkook and Yoongi who had mostly been in their own little world outside of the main conversation.

"You guys hungry?" She proposed when they had all taken in the view, gesturing slightly to the huge basket in her hand.

When her question was only met with eager sounds of agreement, she plopped down where she was standing on the ground; the grass was dry, but comfortable enough to sit on. The boys followed her lead, sitting cross-legged and crowded around her.

Before long, most of the food (Y/N) had brought along with her had already been devoured over lighthearted conversation about everything ranging from childhood traumas to defining moments in life. It seemed like the more time she spent with the boys, the more the thought of her present reality being surreal got pushed to the back of her mind.

For an hour or two, (Y/N) just forgot- about the marks, and her uncertainties, and the world. All she knew was that she had never felt like she fit in so perfectly with a group of people before.

Despite starting off with a little more distance between them, (Y/N) found that she could relate so easily to Yoongi that it was scary; his quiet sort of wisdom and quirky, sometimes over-the-top humor completely contrasted, but he was amazing company no matter which side of his he projected.

Even Jungkook, who was obviously much more introverted than any of the others, got more comfortable with the new addition to his group more quickly than he had anticipated himself. His level of comfort and ease, (Y/N) realized quickly and with no small amount of amusement, showed through in the amount of genuinely happy eye smiles and cheeky remarks that escaped his mouth.

An unbelieving sound of indignation that left Hoseok was what ultimately snapped (Y/N) out of her thoughts; she had spaced out a little unknowingly. Bringing her attention back to the scene in front of her, however, turned out to be a bit of a mistake. In front of her was Hoseok, in all his flawless glory, laid out on the ground (mostly) with his head in Jimin's lap and feet perched on Taehyung's thigh.

The sun shone down on his exposed collarbones, the ridiculously oversized shirt he was wearing almost sliding off his shoulder. That, coupled with the stereotypical 'model' expression he sported; his eyes dreamy and lips parted just a little, were enough to give anyone a heart attack. Luckily or not for (Y/N), she got away with just choking on her eleventh fucking chocolate strawberry.

"Taehyung-ah, why do you keep taking pictures of the stupid trees when I'm telling you I'm prettier in the sun than they are?" Though she didn't know exactly what he said, Hoseok's ludicrous complaints were thankfully far too amusing (and loud) for anyone to notice (Y/N) choking after seeing him laid out in a- for lack of better words- 'draw me like one of your French girls' pose.

"Rapmon hyungie, get him away; he's so embarrassing." Jungkook turned his nose at Hoseok, the apparent perpetrator of crimes against 'appropriately cool' behavior.
