Chapter 4

Everybody in the fire house was talking and eating breakfast when Buck came in.Bobby said "Your late" . Buck replied by saying " No i am slightly behind."As bobby was going to respond the fire alarm went off. 

They made there way to the scene while talking about going to the bar after there shift. Everybody instantly agreed when they reached  a apartment building and saw the cops where already there. Bobby asked Athena what was happening she said there was a shooting with multiple people injured . 

Once the building was cleared to make sure the shooters were all in custody Bobby sent in Buck and Eddie to see if there were anymore people hurt in the building. While Hen and Chimney checked everybody's wounds Eddie entered the Building with Buck he couldn't shake the feeling something bad was going to happen. 

They entered a apartment building and asked if anyone was in there . Eddie was going to tell Buck his worries when they heard a soft "Help me." They rushed into action Buck took off his backpack that they brought with them that has medical supplies and quickly grabbed gauze for a woman who was holding her arm. While Buck was doing that Eddie asked her a couple of questions such as her name and if anyone else was in the building. She moved her hand to let Buck wrap it with gauze while she answered .

"My name is Rose and no there is no one else here."Buck helped her off the floor and started to lead her to the building exit. She stopped him and told him she could go the rest of the way her self. Hen saw a woman come out of the building and began helping her immediately. Bobby asked on the radio" Buck,Eddie how much have you cleared. " Eddie replied saying " Half way through cap. "

Eddie and Buck quickly tried to search the building. They had one more room left. While Eddie and Buck were entering the next apartment Athena rushed to reach Bobby and tell him there was still one more shooter in the building.

They entered the room asking if anyone was there when they heard a thud from the closet. Buck went to open it when they heard Bobby on the radio say "All units fall back there is a shooter in the building. I repeat there is a shooter in the building."

Buck and Eddie forgetting all about the thud they heard and got there gear back on to leave. Just as they were about to leave a man came out of the closet holding a gun.

The man pointed the gun at Buck. Eddie quickly said "You don't want to hurt us look what your name." The guy replied by saying " Stop talking talking before I shoot you . "

Cap started talking on the radio saying " What taking you guys so long hurry up and get out of there. " The shooter heard everything and went closer to the two men and said "Tell him your doing something."

Eddie began talking in the radio" Cap we are just checking the vents in the second floor you know like we always do. "

Bobby and Athena looked at each other like Eddie was crazy when Bobby said " I think he trying to send us a message because we never check the vents for these situations. "

Athena and Bobby sent a couple police officers and herself  to go check it out. They quickly went up to the second floor . The man heard footsteps and started yelling at Eddie " You sent them a message didn't you! "

He pointed the gun at Buck and said " You want him to die tell them your ok and are on your way now"!

Just as Eddie was about to oblige the police came running in telling the man to put his hands up. The man decided to be stupid and started shooting . Athena shot the man and went to check if he was still alive. Athena said in her radio " We are going to need a ambulance for a gun shot to the leg. "

She went to ask if everyone was ok when Buck dropped to his knees and cried out in pain. In a matter of seconds Eddie was on the floor to help Buck. He saw Buck had a gun shot wound to the chest. Eddie heard yelling around him but all he could focus on was Buck . Buck heard someone asking if he was ok but couldn't find the strength to answer.
