Third person:

Once the papers were signed and Buck was finally dressed everyone started to leave. Maddie and Chim said goodbye to Buck, Christopher, and Eddie and headed to give the station the update.

Then once everyone else got in Eddies truck they headed to his house with Christopher talking the whole way there with ideas for the rest of the day.

Once they headed to the house, Buck taking a little longer, they settled in the living room.

"So," Eddie started," what should we have for lunch."

"Pizza," Christopher suggested.

"I agree with the little guy," and Buck high fives Christopher.

Eddie places an order for a pepperoni pizza and some breadsticks   from the place across the street while Christopher starts getting things ready for coloring. Buck watches all of this with a smile on his face. Eddie notices and sits down next to Buck once the order was in.

"Hey," Eddie says, " I just wanted to say thanks for agreeing to come here I know Christopher kinda put you on the spot."

Buck chuckles,  "He didn't put me on the spot." Eddie gives him a look, Ok maybe he did just a little, but I don't mind I'd do anything he asked," he glances at Eddie, "you too, you know that right."

Eddie nods, " Yeah, I know."

Before Buck could say anything else Christopher announces that everything is ready to color. Eddie looks a little confused, "Color?"

"Oh," Buck says, "Chris asked if we could color with him and I said yes. Is that ok?"

When Eddie opened his mouth to answer there was a knock on the door. He gets up to answer and sees that it is a delivery guy with the food they ordered. He pays the guy and walks back inside with the food.

"Pizza," both Buck and Christopher yell. Eddie laughs and starts serving the food. Once everyone has food Buck asks again.

"So is it ok that I agreed on your behalf to color?"

Eddie laughs, "Yeah it's ok. Besides I'm great at coloring." Eddie continues to eat his pizza.

Buck nods, "Great, but I bet you're not as good as me when it comes to coloring."

Eddie looks at him, " Do you really want to do this? Remember last time you challenged me." He says reminding Buck of the last time they played video games at Buck's apartment.

Buck looks Eddie right in the eye, "I'm sure."

Eddie nods, "Ok you're on."

Once they finish eating they get ready for their childish competition. Christopher starts coloring and drawing his pictures normally while Buck and Eddie are getting their colored pencils and their regular car coloring pages  ready as if for war.

They stare each other down.

"Ready," Buck says.

"Set," Eddie continues.

"Go," the both say and start coloring.

Forty minutes later once Christopher has already drew two pictures and has started coloring this own coloring page they both finally finish.

They hold their pictures to their chest. " Ok on three we turn our pictures." Eddie nods. "Ok 1, 2, 3."

They both turn their pictures, and both seem perfect and are colored inside the lines and are neat. They both scrutinize each others pictures and it seems to be a tie, until Buck notices something.

" Their is a line outside of the picture," Buck points at the smallest line of color that is outside the lines, " I win."

Eddie squinty to see what Buck is looking at, "Really that's it," Buck nods, " But..."

Buck shakes his head, " My picture has no lines out of place. I win. "

Eddie looks over Bucks picture and notices that he is  right. He sigh, " Fine I'll give you that only because your injured and I feel bad."

Buck scoffs, " Yeah right."

They all continue to play games and laugh until its time for dinner. Eddie decided to make something simple, since he doesn't want to cook too much and makes mac and cheese since Christopher loves it.

Once he looks in the living room to call Buck and Chris for dinner he sees them just sitting in the couch and laughing at a movie and just watches how close they are and how happy they both look. "Hey guys food's ready."

They all sit at the table and talk an eat and laugh once they are done and everything is clean up its 7:30 and they decide to play video games for a little while.

At first everything is calm and nice until Buck and Eddie get too caught up and Eddie accidentally bumps into Buck causing him to bump into the couch pretty hard.

"Dang it, Buck are you ok?" Buck grimaces, but nods. " No you're not, let me get your medicine."

Once Eddie has it and gives it to Buck he relaxes a little bit.

"I'm so sorry Buck are you sure you're fine."

Buck smiles, "I'm sure, but I think I'm going to go to bed I'm a little tired."

Eddie nods, " Ok, let me help you." Once they got Buck they walked to the guestroom and Buck was ready for bed Eddie apologized once again.

Buck chuckles, "I'm fine ok, I'm just tired," Eddie nods, "good night." He spots Christopher near the door, " Goodnight Buddy."

"Night Buck," Christopher says and walks away.

Eddie looks at him, "Night Buck." He walks out of the room and closes the door and lets out a breath. What a day.
