Sky's POV
My mind must be playing tricks on me because there is no way Ashton is here.
Now.
After 3 whole months? Where the fuck has he been this whole time?
But most importantly why is he here?
All the questions where going at light speed in my mind but my brain and mouth still haven't been in sync after what just happened. All I could do was stare at him with tears in my eyes and my mouth hung open.
The cafeteria was like a horror movie graveyard because you could feel the eeriness and the deathly silence that filled the once boisterous room. Nobody moved or said a word.
They were like hawks watching their preys to see hold this would play out and see who would make the first move. They didn't have to wait long though, as Ashton was the first to speak.
"Why are you on the floor?" His voice was a lot deeper than I remembered but that's not what caught my attention.
It was the fact that it had no hint of emotion whatsoever.
I opened my mouth to answer but my throat was dry. My mind was too occupied with the events that played out that day and I could move. My breaths came out in short pants and I felt like I was about to pass out.
Shit. Not now. Not right now.
Ashton just stared back at me with his eyebrows raised waiting for my answer. Thing is that I didn't have one.
"Asshhyy." Jessica's shrieking voice pierced through the room and she ran up to Ashton giving him a bone crushing hug. Ashton just simply stared at her.
"You don't know how much I missed you. I'm so sorry for what happened to you and your sister. Nobody should have to go through that and trust me when I say that this bitch will pay for what she's done." She pointed at me with a smug grin on her face.
But her smile dropped when Ashton pushed her off of him and when she turned around, she didn't even had time to react before Ashton's hand flew across her face, the sound deafening the room back into its eerie silence.
Tears sprung her eyes as she held her cheek and stared at him with utter surprise. "d-did you just hit me?"
"Yes. Yes, I did." His eyes hardened.
"But why?"
He took a threatening step towards Jessica and she instinctively took a step back.
"I heard everything you just said but let me tell you something loud and clear. If you don't know what you're talking about then I suggest you shut the fuck up and keep moving. You don't speak of my sister because you know nothing about her. I didn't move away and I certainly don't need you or anyone else's pity. But you're right about two things though."
He looked up at everybody and the way he controlled the room was almost godly. "Nobody should have to go through what I went through and I hope they doing better to prevent that from happening." He then turned his attention back to me and the color left my face.
"The second thing was that She definitely killed my sister and I will never forget her for as long as I'm still breathing."
And with that he left the Cafeteria leaving his words hanging in the air.

Ashton left and nobody moved until the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch. That seemed to woke me up out of my dazed state before I got to my feet and ran after him.
