THE NEXT DAY, Isabella decided that before she could deal with what her brother had told her, she needed to do what she had originally come back to town to do—and that was destroy Ashton Irwin's life.

She could easily break him; she knew exactly what to do. But it took time and a lot of planning. She'd already proved that his relationship wasn't as strong as she'd heard people say it was. He'd slept with her after confessing he was with someone else.

She'd shown his girlfriend that she could make Ashton weak in the knees by simply dressing up as something as silly as a high school cheerleader. She was becoming friends—if not more—with his friends. Theo was on his own mission with Michael; Isabella didn't really know what was going on there, she'd noticed her sister's behaviour around Calum, and Luke was basically putty in her hands.

The final step? Get Molly to break up with Ashton.

Easier said than done though. She didn't want to just come out with the fact that Ashton had cheated on Molly, she didn't want to be that kind of girl. So instead, she'd make Molly realize just how shit of a person he really was, and then she'd do the deed all on her own.

Walking into her family's kitchen that morning, she was greeted by a hungover Maya and a nervous looking Theo. She sent Theo a look, as if to say 'get-your-shit-together-before-our-sister-notices', Theo didn't get the look.

"Good morning, siblings." Isabella greeted back, and took a seat next to Maya at the island counter. She looked up at her sister, clutching her forehead. "Rough night?" Isabella giggled, helping herself to Maya's untouched orange juice.

"Never drinking again."

Isabella snorted after putting the juice glass down. "That's what we all say, but eventually you just learn what your limit is and it gets better." Maya glared at her sister, what she was saying definitely wasn't helping her killer headache. Isabella sent Theo another look, and that seemed to wake him up.

Standing up from his chair, he took his coffee mug with him to the refrigerator. "I'll make you a greasy breakfast; it's honestly the best hungover cure." Maya gagged at the mention of food and Isabella sympathised with her sister.

While they were away, they didn't socialize much, which meant no parties and no opportunities for Maya to get drinking practice in like Isabella and Theo had when they were May's age and younger.

"How much did you actually drink last night?" Isabella asked, taking another sip of fruit juice. "I didn't even see you around that much." Maya groaned in response and kept her eyes closed as she spoke. "I barely remember much after Calum showed up; I just woke up in my bed."
