The wind nibbled at their hands  as the four children sat on the cart their horse pulled through the forest. In the carriage behind the drivers seat sat a tall girl with hair as dark as a ravens wing and eyes as blue as the waves that hugged the rugged cliffs along the shoreline of Ireland, and she was lost In thought worrying about what their future held. they were on there way to Dublin to sell what vegetables they couldn't sell at Londonderry's farmers market.  Normally they would have had just enough food left for them after selling their vegetables but with the ships travelling further north with meat and fruits and vegetables most of us had never heard of it was becoming harder to sell local product.
I  was knocked out of my daze by my  little sister Ríonach  poking me  in the cheek
" Torryn wants you up front, didn't you hear him?"
" No but I will go see what he wants."  I  replied   Hurriedly, Torryn has a history of having a hot temper when things didn't go exactly his way, mind you he'd never hurt anyone he loved he just got very loud and  red in the face. When I walked up front to asked what was wrong I noticed a old man sitting on the side of the road.
"What's he doing?" I questioned torryn having a hard time keeping the curiosity out of my voice
"He said that he was Oisín, you know the guy  from Tír na nÓg that fell off his horse and died in Ireland."
"-But that's impossible, that's from a myth" I interrupted-"those stories mother told can't be true."
"Why do you think I called you up here, what took so long anyways , you know what it doesn't matter, should we take him to Dublin with us?"
" sure, it's not safe for him out here, especially when it gets late,"
With that we hopped off the cart but when I walked around to the drivers side of the cart Torryn wasn't there, neither was the man who claimed he was Oisín that's when I heard the screaming.
"Torry this isn't funny where are you!" I called out only to be met with silence, I ducked into the back of the cart and told my twin brother Seamus and sister Ríonach to stay put while I go find Torryn.
I was creeping  through the forest when I heard my name being screamed from the cart and with that all my caution was forgotten as I ran back towards the cart. When I got there the cart was aflame along with All the provisions but my siblings were no where to be found. I started to panic, tears were streaming down my face as I undid our horse from the cart and hopped on, I could still hear  them calling for me and they were heading towards the sea. I urged my horse on faster the wind whipping my hair out behind me as we broke through the forest, I stopped the horse and scanned the horizon for any sign of them only to be consumed with fear and guilt at the sight of Torryn, Seamus, and Ríonach with a man dressed head to toe in black riding a pure white horse standing on the edge of a cliff, I kicked the mare on to try and reach them in time, I couldn't loose more family, we had already lost mother and father in the span of twelve years, I would break if I lost more, I almost got to them in time, my younger sister reached out her hand and our fingers brushed as she fell , if only I hadn't left them behind, this was all my fault, I fell to my knees and screamed in anguish. That's when a pure white dove flew up beside me and dropped a note into my hand. The note instructed me to find a man named Diarmuid. So I set out on my quest to find this Diarmuid and get my siblings back.
