*Chapter Three*
Dear Delilah,
I'm glad to hear from you, I hope you and that boy become good friends. I know it's been a while since I have sent you a letter but I have been very busy at work. The weapons specialist came into camp today and told us about some new guns we can train with. I will be pretty booked for the next week because there is a scheduled ambush on our camp but our spies got the information to us so we can handle it.
Be safe my little flower.

I couldn't believe myself, I sat outside, staring at my feet. I had opened my mouth, I had gone near her. I was such an idiot. I looked up and sighed. Looking down I remember back to when I encountered her.
*flashback*I grabbed her by the arm, my eyes widening slightly as warm sparks went down my arm and spread through the rest of my body. My breath hitched slightly and she whipped around, pulling at my arm, causing more sparks to fly through my body. I overcame the feeling and looked into her light blue eyes, searching for any sign of recognition, she simply stared back, an unknown emotion mixed with fear swimming in her eyes.
"Mate"
*flashback over*
I got up and walked to my mothers Subaru, taking out the spare keys and putting them in the ignition. I began driving, out of the neighborhood and onto the highway.
It had been about and hour and the suburbs had descended into the country. I looked ahead, the sun had started to go down. Finally he spoke up.
"Mate, mate, go to mate."
"No" I stated. He whimpered and I ignored him.
"She needs you."
"I can't. Leave it be." I shut him out, closing my eyes.
Why, why her?
