"KIM'S POV"
"Evelyn, Evelyn!" I yelled "Oh my God, Evelyn" I ran over to her, she was bleeding from her chest and neck. It didn't look good.
"This is Patrol 5732, shots fired at police. Officer down, I got shot too. We won't make it. This is goodbye"
I whispered, hoarse from the pain and dragged myself to put pressure on Evelyn's wounds.
"Come on stay alive, for me" I whispered to Evelyn "Hold on"

"TRUDY'S POV"
It's been an hour and a half since I sent Burgess and Cooper out, I wonder where they are? My thoughts are distracted due to the phone ringing.
"Trudy Platt District 21, how may I help you?" I asked
"This is Cady, from Headquarters" The voice replied " 2 of your officers have been shot, one seriously injured, one called it in. She sounded distressed and she said they weren't going to make it, she said that this was their goodbye"
My jaw dropped "Oh my God, what Patrol Car?" I asked nervously, but deep down I think I knew which one.
"5732" They replied
I've got to tell Voight and Intelligence now!

{still Trudy's POV}
"Hank" I shouted up the stairs
"Yes Trudy?" A voice replied
"You need to find my patrolmen now, Burgess and the new girl, Cooper. Their missing, reports from Burgess saying they were both shot and that they weren't going to make it. Cooper I'm guessing is unconscious and I'm informed she's seriously injured" I blurted out "Just keep in mind, this could be a recovery, not a rescue" I carried on "Just find them" and with that I stormed out the door.
