Caught green handed

Demi set her things on her desk before scanning through her recent work emails she'd received from the day before, one in particular caught the girls attention when she noticed Lauren's name in the subject line

Email from Miss Stone
"It has been brought to my attention that your student Lauren Jauregui has been caught stealing from another students locker, this needs to be addressed immediately as per our school policies and procedures act.
Please come and see me in my office at your earliest convenience,
Thank you
Miss G.Stone"

Demi sat in shock for a moment, Lauren would never steal anything.. it just wasn't her!

She also realised what a manipulative and pumped up jerk Gemma could be so she quickly shut her laptop and made her way over to the office, she didn't bother to knock just simply walked in and sat down on the edge of her desk

"Demi, can I help you?"

She asked in a patronising voice as she looked up at the curvy teacher

"Lauren? Stealing?"

Demi motioned suggestively, Miss Stone sighed

"Yes, she was caught yesterday afternoon taking something from a locker that didn't belong to her"

She began as Demi sat in disbelief

"Who caught her?"

She asked bluntly

"Well... I .. I did"

Demi immediately rolled her eyes as she lift herself from off the desk

"Demi I'm not lying! I saw her with my own eyes!"

"What did she steal then huh? And who's locker?"

Gemma sat uncomfortably in her chair as she combed her hair away from her face

"I don't know! But you need to get to the bottom of this Demi I'm serious! This is a suspension if she doesn't have a good reason!"

Gemma shot spitefully smiling in a smug way, her voice fully made it obvious that she was enjoying this, nobody knew why she wanted Lauren gone so badly, it was like she had some dirty secret hidden that she didn't want to spill just yet

"You want me to do your fucking job for you now? Should have guessed you didn't have the balls!"

Demi retaliated as Gemma tilted her head lightly

"If you wanna do my job feel free baby! But hear this, if I had it my way? She would be gone way before now! So I'm giving you a chance to sort that fucking mess out on your own!"

Demi's jaw dropped as her fists clenched, normally she'd respond by biting back but she didn't want Lauren suspended or for Gemma to change her mind so she quickly head out slamming the door behind her

As she noticed people pouring in to the halls she kept an eye out for Lauren, after a few seconds she could make out the thick black hair perfectly swaying at her locker, she walked up behind her and pulled lightly on her arm dragging her into class

"Heyyy, why so aggressive?!"

Lauren addressed as she brushed herself off, Demi turned around and sat on the desk in front of the girl looking on at her sternly

"Lo I just had Miss Stone threaten to suspend you for stealing from someone's locker?!"

She began with an unintentional harsh tone in her voice

"What the fuck Demi? Stealing?! I have never stolen anything in my life!"
