"How about we take a break, and eat something delicious today?" Said the King, with a wide smile on his face.
"You got lots of work to finish, your Majesty." Said Jo Yeong, him being the only one apart from Lee Gon on the room.
"True..." Lee Gon faced his paperwork, while letting out a fake sigh.
"I'll inform the Secretary, so she can bring you some food." Said Jo Yeong, with his usual blank face.
"Hm, I wanted to eat with you though." Lee Gon said, pouting cutely.
Jo Yeong looked to the side, hiding a slight blush. "I already ate."
"But you didn't have time to eat today." Lee Gon raised his eyebrows, focusing on Yeong.
"Meaning...you just lied to the king, Captain Jo." Lee Gon said, grinning. Since he didn't take the situation seriously.
"..." No sound came out from Jo Yeong.
"We ARE going to take a break." Said Lee Gon, looking directly at Jo Young.
"And you're coming with me."
"It's a punishment, for lying to me." He said smirking playfully at Yeong.
"But, Your Majesty-"
"Let's go, My dear Captain" Said Lee Gon, grinning once again.
"Aish...Seriously." Jo Yeong murmured. He then followed right behind.
After setting everything up
"What do you think? Should I have cooked today instead? Since it's supposed to be a special night." Lee Gon said.
"What's your point?" Jo Yeong asked, not showing much interest on their conversation.
"Because it's been a while since we last ate together." Said Lee Gon smiling sweetly.
He then noticed Jo Yeong wasn't listening at all.
"I thought you weren't hungry, Captain Jo."
"I'm not, you literally forced me to eat." Jo Yeong said, not making eye contact with him.
"Answering back like that-- You're so hungry you forgot who you were talking to."
The King, Lee Gon stopped talking once he heard the door open.
They both looked towards that direction.
"Your majesty, The Prime Minister Koo is heading this way, she wants to talk." An assistant said.
Lee Gon sighed, just at the moment she entered the room.
"Ah, I may have arrived unexpectedly. You do seem busy, sorry about that." She said, then noticed Jo Yeong.
"If he's here, you don't mind if I sit down and eat as well, Do you... Your Majesty?"
Jo Yeong rolled his eyes, with no one noticing of course.
"You won't leave unless you get what you want, so you probably know the answer" Said Lee Gon, looking unbothered.
"Hah, You know me well." She then sat down, while an assistant placed some more food on the table minutes later.
"So... heard you haven't found your "Queen" yet." She said, grinning.
"You're right." Lee Gon said, focusing on his food.
"Oh, but didnt you say you were gonna find one soon? What happened, Your Highness?" She smiled through it all.
"You'll have to find one soon or-"
Lee Gon glared at her making her close her mouth.
Everything got silent for a moment, everyone was focused on their food. That was... until The Prime Minister and Jo Yeong, placed their chopsticks on a current meal. It was actually Jo Yeong's favorite, but he let go. Since well, he had to be respectful.
She just smiled, and was about to take the last piece.
That was...Until, Lee Gon placed HIS chopsticks on top of the food she had her eyes on.
"These." He signaled the last portion of food.
"It's Yeong's favourite." Said Lee Gon placing the last piece on Yeong's plate.
Gaining a surprised and confused expression from both.
