Nisha's Point of View
After the scene, we headed to the meeting room to begin the plan. We were in a very dangerous situation. Shawn and I hadn't discussed ourselves yet, but I'd bring it up with him later. We were awaiting the arrival of the others. Shawn's father had a serious expression on his face, and I could see why. Perhaps he sensed danger and was preparing for it. I was sure he was still angry at his father for what happened to his wife, but they didn't have a choice. It was impossible to undo what had been done.
"Where is Daddy Truce, Shawn?" Everyone's attention was drawn to me because of my inquiry, but my gaze was locked on the man I was questioning. He let out a sigh.
"He is a member of the Peur Organization. Grandpa is unaware that he is a foe," I kept my mouth shut and didn't ask for anything else. Daddy Truce might have a plan. If he knows he's no longer safe, he won't just sit there.
I remembered the book I had been reading. Mr. No came to mind when I was thinking about this. Was he most likely to lead the newly established organization? What was his motivation, if I was correct? Did he realize what he was doing was wrong? Prior to it, he aided Mr. Shon and indoctrinated him, producing uncertainty, as far as I know. But, as they say, everything changes. It is up to him to decide. Perhaps Mr. NO is the mastermind, and he's assisting us in eliminating and defeating the Peur Organization so that we can live in peace.
I'm having another deep thought as a result of this knowledge. Shawn, of course, had no idea that Mr. Shon was to blame for his great grandfather's death. The truth has been kept hidden. Daddy Truce handed Kimeniah the book and informed her that I would be in the library. Daddy has a plan, and he's a spy, as I suspected. Perhaps he has a connection to the new company's mastermind, or should I say, Mr. NO.
"They've already arrived, Mr. Shione."
From what I've heard, I've been brought back to reality. The meeting will begin shortly. Mr. Shione's men entered, clothed in black. They are also well-trained individuals who follow their Master's orders. They sat down right away in the seats that had been set aside for them. This conference room is quite large. I had no idea they were quietly constructing a hideaway, so they're poised for when things go wrong. They're succeeding, too. Mr. Shione is undeniably intelligent and attentive.
"So, how's it going? Are you aware of what's going on here?" Mr. Shione mumbled something, and his gaze was drawn to the guy with a gloomy aura. I'm aware of his presence. He's still powerful, but I keep a wary eye on them. I promised Shawn that I would be respectful and not interfere, and that I would simply listen. In response, I noticed him nodding.
If I had been impoverished, I could have passed out from the coldness of his presence. I couldn't see his face, but I was sure he was ruthless when he fought. "They've done an excellent job of preparing it. They practiced and planned a surprise attack on the university. Right now, your father is frustrated, and no one can help him. We could see the Fentanyl blood coursing through his veins," he went on to explain why I had gasped in shock. Whoa. I assumed the experiment could only be completed by one person? I never had the impression he was tampering with himself to gain strength and control. He's not foolish or insane enough to be concerned about the dangers of that fucking deadly Fentanyl. We fell into silence because of the shocking details. "A different one," he added.
"What exactly do you mean?" Mr. Shione inquired, his voice puzzled. The mood was becoming increasingly charged. I couldn't say that I blamed them. It was all new information, and we didn't know what the implications would be.
"We are unable to name it because we have witnessed the entirety of his life. He's going to pass away. The Fentanyl that is pumped into his body slowly kills him. We are unable to identify the medicine. We attempted to test it by drawing blood from him while he was sleeping," he sighed deeply, as if he were holding a weighty piece of information. "We were attempting it with a living being. Following that, more information was provided. We saw the animal resting sweetly, but it was also dying in agony," It was too much for me. Mr. Shon would perish. Was that all there was to it? Nonetheless, it made me uncomfortable. I had a feeling this wasn't the end; a second wave was on its way to find us. I couldn't take it any longer, so I spoke up, which drew their attention to me.
