"What's wrong?"
Yoongi turned to Taehyung, and adjusted his mic attached to his clothing, "Huh? Oh, nothing,"
"Can you hear her?" Jugkook asked.
Questions like, 'can you hear your soulmate?' and 'what is our soulmate doing?' was pretty normal, asking for the identity of their soulmate however, was too personal.
"Um, yeah,"
"What is she doing?"
"Ah, she's... uh, it's too faint," Yoongi lied.
Namjoon shook his head and exhaled, "What is she actually doing?"
BTS were getting ready to go on stage. It was 5 minutes before the concert was set to start, and at the wrong time, Yoongi was being bothered by his soulmate.
"I think... I think she's out there," he breathed.
"What do you mean?" the leader asked, placing a hand on Yoongi's shoulder.
"Like, she's there... she's in the crowd."
"Woah, like a love story," Jimin cooed.
"Be quiet," Yoongi scolded, "She's out there. She's here at the concert, I can feel it."
"Well that's great! You'll get to meet her," Seokjin patted his back.
"And she's an ARMY!" Hoseok cheered.
"That's not the point here," Namjoon calmed everyone, "Yoongi, you know this is the first time that you're able to know the location of your soulmate?"
As much as any fan would want to, it was easy for anyone to claim a celebrity as their soulmate. But because of basic logic and safety, it was best to keep the identities of anyone's soulmate to themselves. Any sudden declaration of someone famous to be an ordinary person's soulmate was considered to be crazy and them an obsessed person; no one would want that. For the ordinary person, they'd think it impossible to meet their celebrity soulmate, but the bond always had its ways and eventually the two would find each other.
"I know."
"You don't have to tell us who she is, but have you always known she was a fan?" Hoseok asked.
Yoongi sighed, "Yes. I sometimes hear her sing, rap, and you know... fangirl, but this is the first time she's ever been to one of our concerts."
"Wow," Taehyung gaped.
"You could hear her sing? Is that even possible? Does she do it through a microphone or does she just sing loud?" Seokjin asked.
"I'm not too sure... it's hard to tell the difference, right? Between hearing your soulmate sing through a microphone or just loudly... it's all sounded the same to me," Yoongi explained.
It was his first time telling that to anyone, "I guess it's because she always goes over Regular Speech... I hear her cry a lot."
His members only nodded.
"Can she sing and rap well?" Jungkook asked curiously.
Hoseok slapped the back of his head.
Yoongi replied, unbothered by the question too inappropriate for the situation, "Yeah... yeah, I guess so."
"Has she been to a concert before?" Namjoon asked.
"Yep, remember that time a few months ago when I had to take a break from practice? I'm pretty sure she was at a TWICE concert from what I was hearing."
"Ouch, your head must've been hurting," Jimin said, trying to imagine how it would have felt on him.
"Mm, but it sounded like she was having fun."
"If it hurt then, it'd probably hurt now too," Seokjin added.
"Ah, yeah..." Namjoon nodded, "We need to tell manager if you're going to be in pain and that she's here."
"No, I'm okay. And we can tell him after. I've adjusted after she went to TWICE. The speakers here will be loud enough so I can hear over her. There's other fans here today too so it's naturally loud." Yoongi explained.
"What about her? She'll probably only be able to hear you because you have a mic," Taehyung said.
"Then I guess she'll only hear me," he smiled to himself, and tapped his mic.
"Okay, let's get going," Namjoon said, and looked to Yoongi, "You'll be okay? We have to go on stage now."
"Yes, I'll be fine. It's either her or I ask to meet afterwards once the concert's done. She might make herself cry or something to make me hear," he assured, and put his hand in the center of his members.
"Alright," the leader nodded, "BANG,"
"TAN!" The rest of the group replied, and lifted their arms up.
"Let's get it!" Jungkook clapped after the group cheer.
The boys took their places on the part of the stage which they'd be elevated on.
"BTS! BTS!"
Smoke started to surround them and then spill onto the stage.
The fan's cheers got louder, and the members turned to Yoongi, expressions asking if he's okay.
He nodded in assurance, and the stage started to rise.
The cheering was getting louder, and Yoongi could hear the faint chanting coming from his soulmate in his head. He smiled, knowing that she was there to support him.
The stage lifted higher, and the members were slowly revealed to the audience. It then locked securely in place, and the performance began.
