Maxx

Chapter 7

7

     I really didn't want Maxx to leave but he said when everyone went back to their rooms he'd come back.

"I'm back." he whispered when he entered.

     He climbed in bed and I snuggled into him and fell asleep. When I woke up Maxx was gone. I went downstairs to breakfast and saw all four of them eating.

"Good morning." T-Abby said.

"Morning." I said back.

     I went and sat at the table with them.

"Don't want any breakfast?" Kendal asked.

     I shook my head. All through breakfast Kendal and Maxx kept glancing at each other. They were definitely up to something. But what? I asked Maxx to take me to the gym.
     Kendal came too. I was punching on the bag. Every couple of seconds I felt eyes watching me. So I turned around. Maxx was talking to Kendal, Henry, and Scott.
     Every couple of seconds they would glance at me. Ok that's weird. They were whispering something. I wonder of it was something about Jack. I was gonna find out sooner or later.
     I went back to punching the punching bag.

Maxx's POV

"Got it?" I asked them.

"Yea." Henry said.

     Logan was coming back today. We were gonna find Jack and put a stop to all of this. I told Kendal, Henry, and Scott to go find all the demons that they knew that hated Jack. We were gonna met at Kendal's house later today. The sooner we planned what to do the sooner we could get rid of him for good.

"I'm ready to go Maxx." Nicole said.

     Kendal, Nicole, and I left. Logan was waiting for me when we got there. Nicole went upstairs to her room so the three of us went outside to wait for the others. There were about 20 people not including Kendel, Logan, Scott, Henry, and me. I had no idea this many people hated Jack.

"So what are we gonna do?" Lyle asked.

"Well we need to find him first." I said. "So if anyone finds out where he is tell me. When we find out we'll split up. Four people on each groups, five groups. Kendal you'll take Dave, Rick, and Eddy. Scott you'll take Finn, George, and Iden. Henry you'll take Neal, Oliver, and Parker. Lyle you'll take Raj, Sam, and Tas. I'll take Victor, Wyatt, and Ace. Logan you're coming with me so I'll have one extra person."

     Jack was going down. Wyatt knew where they were. We were going later tonight when everyone was asleep. Scott and everyone else left, they were going to come back at two. I woke up when I heard a noise in my room.
     I looked at the clock on my nightstand. It said one. Who was in my room at this time of night? I thought I saw Jack before I was hit in the head and everything went black.

Nicole's POV

"Nicole wake up." Kendal said shaking me.

     I woke up and looked around my room. The sun wasn't shinning through the curtains.

"What time is it?" I asked yawning.

"Two." he said.

     Two? He woke me up at two?! This better be important.

"What?" I asked.

"Have you seen Maxx?" he asked.

"No. He's not in his room?"

"No."

"Why?"

"No reason."

"Kendal. There had to be a reason why you're looking for him."
