Maxx Chapter 4

Maxx's POV

     She was begging. I couldn't tell her no. Her faher was going to kill me for this.

"Alright." I said.

"Thanks." she said smilling.

"Maxx are you sure that's a good idea.?" Logan asked.

"I really don't know."

"So how far from here?" Nicole asked.

"Well considering we have to go on feet about 30 minutes." I said.

"That's not far." she said walking ahead.

     She stopped and looked back at me.

"You said you were going to tell me wo Rose is."

"Alright." I said walking to catch up with her.

     The three of us were walking while I explained to Nicole who Rose was and what I knew about her.

"Is that it?" Nicole asked stopping to look at the building in front of us.

"Yea." I said.

"Lets go then." she said running towards the building.

"Nicole wait." I said running after her.

"Why?" she asked turning to face us.

"Because there are gaurds everywhere." I said.

     The three of us went inside avoiding every guard we saw.

"Let us out! Let us out!" Asher was yelling.

"We're close." I said turning around to face Nicole and Logan.

"Asher yelling isn't going to help any." Christopher said.

"Come on." I said to Nicole and Logan.

     As soon as I turned the corner Christopher spotted me.

"Where's my sister?" He asked.

"Tell me you didn't bring my daughter here." her father said.

"I did."

     When Nicole saw her parents her face lit up.

"Mom. Daddy." she said.

"I told you don't ever take her to us." he said angrily.

"She begged. She wanted to come. Besides I wasn't going to leave her by herself when Jack wanted her." I said angrily.

"Nicole do you know what he is?" her father asked.

     I know he was her father but I wanted to punch him so bad. She looked at the floor and nodded.

"What is he?" Christopher asked.

"A demon." she said quietly.

"What?!" her brother yelled.

"Shh. Do you want to get us killed?" I asked.

"Someone's coming." Logan said.

"Come on." I said grabbing Nicole's wrist.

"Where are we going?" she asked.

"We have to hide."

     The three of us hide behind the same wall we had just come from.

"Did I hear someone else?" a guard asked.

     It was Kyle.

"No." Christopher said.

"Thought I heard someone else." Kyle said.
