Like always I went star gazing and got inspired by the moon...once again

[Man of my Dreams]

"You're a disgrace to this family!"

I know

"Smile damnit! I get tired of your pathetic face!"

I know

"No one will ever care for you if you do nothing but stare at the moon!"

I know

"Marry the fucking moon instead. I regret letting you out to see it."

I would be better off with the moon than with you anyway.

Most nights this occurs and (y/n) can't do anything about it.

She's stuck in the cage with the keys hidden from her, a cage of helplessness and shame.

Though she shouldn't even feel that shame.

The girl didn't do anything to provoke her parents, she did nothing.

Maybe that's exactly the reason why they hate you, weakling.

Although, without her daily comfort from the cool night breeze, the smiling moon and stars, it would've been impossible to meet him. Her other source of comfort.

Usually after her parents are done beating her up, (y/n) would depressingly walk to the nearby hills and there she would cry all night and would only stop once the moon is at it's pee

But every routine must change one way or another.

Her once depressing walks became an excited jog and instead of just the night sky comforting her, another face made her smile just in a matter of seconds.

There stood her savior, the one who miraculously found the key to her happiness and freedom.

The male turned around as soon as footsteps was
Within his earshot, his long braided hair copying his movement and his robe flowing with the wind.

As if that wasn't already enchanting enough, the bright moon just inhanced his charming face even more, glowing magenta eyes meet the girl's (color) ones.

"hey Liang." She came to a stop infront of him, softy panting due to her wild run.

The boy smiled slightly and just waved, not saying any words to her.

She smiled as well, and averted her eyes to the moon, where liang was also looking at and the two just silently stood there.

Ever since she met liang, the boy's voice remained a mystery to her, well not only his voice but all of him.

She always see him as caring and someone who doesn't show their feelings much but she could never estimate.

"I wonder...why you never uttered a word..." She asked— or wondered— , her eyes still glued to the moon.

As always, liang didn't say anything. Instead, he tugged (y/n)'s arm and pulled her In for a hug.

This wasn't the first time they hugged. There's been some times where (y/n) would pounce on him or when some nights are really bad, Liang would hug her, hoping it would be a good source of comfort.

But this hug was different.

(Y/n) knew exactly why.
The wind picked up and the moon as well as the stars shone brighter. She knew this moment would come soon but she never knew it would be so sudden.

Her eyes widened but soon turned glassy, her grip on him tightened, not wanting him to go.

"...when we meet properly next time, promise me that you'll chat with me, k?" Her voice was muffled by his robe along with her soft cries but liang still heard it.

He stroked her silky (color) hair, tangling it in his thin fingers.

A bell ringing made him stopped his action as (y/n) cried louder. With one last tight hug, he disappeared.

All there's left of him was the memories they shared.

"I guess he really was just the man of my dreams..."

And then she woke up.
