When I opened my eyes, I was back at the dorm, in bed, and it was already dark outside. Jae was sitting beside me, reading a book, and someone was in the bathroom. The person emerged and it was the Pink Sweater dude.

"We got you a health pass so you're excused for 3 days

"We got you a health pass so you're excused for 3 days. I couldn't carry you on my own, so I had to check your holophone for contacts. He's the only guy I know, good thing you guys are roommates. I'm Kim Wonpil, by the way, from the Multiverse Manipulation class," Wonpil said.

"Park Sungjin -"

"From the SpaceTime class. And Park Jaehyung, right? We're actually assigned at the same Dome Chamber, but -"

"- But you're gifted and we're not, I know, I know," Jae rolled his eyes and sighed.

"That's not what I meant -"

"Jae, stop bullying Wonpil. He did help me. Thanks," I said. "If there's anything I can do, let me know."

"You don't seem surprised by what happened today. Does this happen often?" Wonpil asked, suddenly.

I exchanged a look with Jae and he suddenly jumped and exclaimed, "SOOO, WONPIL, WHO WAS YOUR DATE LAST CHRONO BALL? SUNGJIN WAS PLANNING ON ASKING HER OUCH WHAT THE FRICK SUNGJIN WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO -" He touched his side after I elbowed him. I tipped my head in Wonpil's direction, because his poker face was broken by a look of... sadness? Anger?

"You asked me if there was something you could do. Then stay away from her, please," Wonpil said, keeping his voice level, before he strode out of our room, closing the door with a click.

"So she and Wonpil are going out?"

"NO!"

"Woah there, Sungjin. Calm down. Why did you get so worked up, anyway? I think he can be trusted."

"Yeah but... But I think he knows something. Jae, he didn't even panic. It's like... He was confirming something."

"... Dude, you'd better get to sleep. You must have hit your head... Somewhere. I thought I was the weird one," Jae said as he went to his bed. After a while, I heard light snoring from Jae's bed, I got up and gripped my bedside. This spell was one of the worst I've had so far, but I usually hide it well.

Was Wonpil just guessing?
Or did he know something?

I remembered his reaction when Jae mentioned the girl and I recalled that some of her things were still with me.

"I should give these to Wonpil asap, since he doesn't want me to see her," I said to myself. I got her holonote and randomly typed some numbers. To my surprise, it opened when I typed in my birthday.

I checked her schedule and was surprised at how well it matched with mine; how we could have bumped into each other at least once or maybe seen each other during lunch... And in most of her schedule, there was this note: Meet me halfway.

And suddenly, a memory emerged. Was it mine? I felt like I was looking through someone else's memories, and that someone was mine.

Who was Wonpil?

And who was she?
