[COMPLETE] First Time

TRANSMISSION 17 - WONPIL

It was the Chrono Ball, but it was the first time we skipped.

After all, you were the reason I always went.

I called you and told you I was coming over after finishing up in the lab.

"Wonpil!"

I turned, surprised that there were people who weren't at the ball.

Jaehyung and Younghyun stood at the doorway, waving. Before they can walk towards me, someone cleared his throat. Their eyes widened upon seeing my mentor.

"... And... Why are you not in the ball? Wonpil's excused, but the two of you..."

"We... We... Got lost?" Younghyun said, sheepishly.

"We were going to visit Sungjin." Jae said. Younghyun elbowed him, but he just looked at my mentor.

"Alright. C'mon Wonpil, let's get going. Both of you as well."

Your eyes had bags from lack of sleep and bloodshot from crying. I hugged  you and you peeped over my shoulder and saw Jaehyung and Younghyun and gazed at my mentor behind them.

"DAD?!"

After an exchange of quick introductions, surprised looks and sheepish grins, I began the painful task of explaining what  we've all slowly come to accept.

"There's nothing we can do - this was our last chance, but -"

"Pil. I thought you were going to help me but... What are you doing?"

I knew you were only lashing out but it still hurt. I didn't answer, and at the same time, your dad stood up, patted me on the shoulder and glared at you.

"Wonpil deserves an award for the things he discovered regarding Multiverse Manipulation... And an apology from you for going along with your selfishness. But I'll lecture you about that later. For now, I want you to sit down."

I sat down just as Jaehyung and Younghyun entered the room from visiting Sungjin.

"I think you guys need to hear it, too."
